I feel great I got my done on may 3rd! I'm still doing the pureed good and minimum solid food I feel scared of eating solid food, I feel I will over eat! 1 more week and I'm going back to the gym. For now I'm walking every day or bicycling. I have lost 31lbs so far but I have been stuck for a week now, it's driving me crazy!
Walk walk walk even if it hurts when u do it that was the key for me for that horrible pain to go away! I walked 3 times a day for about 15 to 20 minutes the first 2 weeks. The pain is temporary it will pass! Stay strong!
Omg! I'm so glad I found this, this is my fifth week and I stuck! I have lost 31lbs so far I'm cooking my own meals and eating really healthy. My doctor told me that I won't lose any weight during the second month because my body has to adjust but is so hard cuz I feel I'm doing everything as I'm supposed to and not losing! Let's not get discourage though! We will conquer! It's a process and it takes time. Wish u the best
It will pass! The first three weeks r the hardest ones don't get discourage. You will see the results! it is a hard journey but you will conquer! I had lots of pain, gas and couldn't pass lots of liquids either. Now I am on my 5th week I have lost 31lbs so far and feel great! Find some support people that you can vent to that will help if there is something this process has taught me is to be patient! Good luck to you! Stay strong!
You will do great! I live alone too and have been doing really good just be careful not to over do things because you will feel like you can but you will be recovering from surgery! Sometimes I tend to forget that because I feel so ooo good! You can do it! We will be here to support you from far away, good luck
I got my surgery in Guatemala, I was in a lot of pain after it, my doctor was great he asked me if I wanted pain meds! I got it the first day but then I decided not to have it anymore. He told me it was my choice and that if I felt I needed it just to let him know. He was great and listened to my decisions he made me feel supported! The pain was really bad for me the first week but walking helped a lot. You can do it! It's sooo worth it!
Sorry to hear that, same thing happened to me. I decided to get my surgery in another country, in the US you pay about $25,000 without insurance. I paid $8,000 in Guatemala in one of the best hospitals they have there. They have a great team with lots of experience. I am back at the US now and in my 5th week post surgery. I don't regret my decision at all. It was worth it!
