  2. 9/26 251 - still losing so all is right in the world!
  3. Today 9/19 and I weigh 253 down another 2 pounds!
  4. 9/12 255, I need to get my focus back!
  5. Starting weight 257 Goal weight 242
  6. There are many organs they can look at. Why don't you ask the doctor what he is looking for?
  7. Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your success.
  8. 259, again. I didn't make my goal, but I did lose 15 pounds over the summer. So, thanks for the challenge!
  9. This is awesome! Congratulations!
  10. Insurance companies can be the worst part of any surgery. I'm sorry to hear that yours is making this more difficult. Stick with it and make that appeal! It will be worth it! Good Luck!
  11. Mine still growls if I give it something it doesn't like. At lunch today I had three potato chips, and it has been a very angry tummy!

I had all those symptoms one day last week, and it was determined to be an allergic reaction. I had tried a Quest bar for the first time that day and had the reaction shortly after that. Have you tried any new foods?
  13. Hi! You must be so frustrated. The only thing I could suggest is that you stay away from your scale. After surgery your body has some adjusting to do while it is healing. Some people retain Water, which shows up on a scale as weight. Water is actually heavier than fat. Personally, I did not get on a scale until my first follow-up visit with the surgeon. Good luck and don't give up!
  14. Talk to your nutritionist about the consequences of not getting enough Protein before you make this decision. In my personal history, not since this surgery, but on various "diets" before, I would end up anemic, or lose my hair, and/or stop getting my periods, etc. I like missbrown30's suggestion of using the shakes, that something I'll keep in mind if I find I can't eat enough protein.
  15. 259 this morning. Mixed feelings - another boarder crossing - Yeah! But it will take a miracle to make my goal - Boo.
  16. Congratulations! This is wonderful, inspiring, and many other positive adjectives!
  17. Glad to hear you are doing so well. Congratulations!
  18. I can't speak for anyone else, but right up to the minute I walked into the operating room, I kept thinking "I can leave now!" I think it's pretty normal to be nervous or unsure about making a change. From the other side, it was well worth it. I feel about 1000% better already, only 4 months after the surgery. Good luck tomorrow and keep us posted!
  19. Congratulations on your continued success! Thank you so much for reminding me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel! What is your biggest challenge, now?
  20. Hi Denise83, If you will send me your e-mail address in a private message I will send you a copy of mine. My psychologist did a good job of keeping it very general.
  21. Please count me in! Thank you so much for putting in the time and energy to keep these going!
  22. 263 - no change, oh well, back to the basics
  23. My weight was causing me breathing problems, and everyone could see and hear that. So I told them all I was having the sleeve to relieve those problems. It is really hard for anyone to be critical or gossip about "I want to breathe." Ironically, now most people just want to tell me how much better I look.
  24. Hi! Like you weighing myself has become one of my favorite parts of the day I'm loving seeing numbers that begin with a 2 instead of a 3. However, I only record the weight on a weekly basis, so the fluctuations between days "don't count".
