  1. Hi! I was banded Nov. 6, take a deep breath and relax. I was banded in Birmingham, Al. It was a very nice experience. If I had pain, I took the medicine and then I was fine. Know that this is the beginning of a great new journey. Believe in your decision and know that it was right. good luck and God bless!

  3. Hi! I was banded on Nov 6 also. I don't regret it but I do feel very tired. I am a school teacher and I really needed to go back on the 3rd day. I was exhaused at the end of the day. Tomorrow I go back after the 3 day weekend and I also go get my staples out. I am on full liquids and I will say I am alittle hungry during the day. I think thils is normal. Let me know How this complares to you and your recovery. Becky

  5. This is a wonderful site! I'm glad I found ya'll! I will be having my surgery on Nov.6 in Birmingham, Al. I have also questioned whether this is God's will. I have prayed for His guidance and stength. I feel very confident that God has His hand on this surgery. Every day I am feeling more and more confident and excited. I know the devil has tryed to make me question and worry about whether this is the right thing to do. But I'm doing my best to leave it in God's hands. Thanks for all the prayers! HoneyB
