I've heard bio oil is also really good.

So I called CIGNA this morning and the rep told me, a separate medical evaluation from a doctor other than the surgeon was not received. I emailed the surgical coordinator and she stated she did send it over and she would send it again. I get home today and there's a letter in the mail stating the same thing. I do not want to keep harassing the coordinator but I may have to!! I don't want to mess up my date since my parents are coming into town the day before my surgery, for an extended stay. Ughhh #frustrated!!

Thank you!! I emailed the coordinator today and she stated that it's with the medical director. I called CIGNA today but the pre-authorization dept was already closed, so I'll try again tomorrow.

I'm scheduled for 07/24 but the insurance has requested more info from my doctor....hopefully all goes well....I'm keeping my fingers, toes and legs crossed!! Where are u located? I'm in NYC and I'm getting sleeved at NYU.

That's what I'm scared of!! I was previously approved for the band but then I changed to sleeve. I did only four months of visits so I'm not sure if that'll be a deterrent...I'm going to keep praying and stay positive!! I'll jump through the hoops, I'm tired of being this way.

10lbs in 4 days!! That's awesome!! No biggie on the response time I figure you're recouping. I'm a stomach and side sleeper too!! I better start training myself lol. I've seen some people stating they have difficulty with protein intake....have u tried watering it down? I have a list of recommended powders and ready to go(RTD) shakes which I can choose from. The GNC lean shake has the highest Protein per serving but it's grainy and has a horrible aftertaste. To answer your question yes, I have 2 week liquid preop but I have a choice as to what I drink.

Thank you I definitely won't overstock.....I just need to make sure I find something I like to get me through the pre-op diet.
