  1. Oh wow that's good, right now I am not hungry and food doesn't faze me. Today is my daughter 21 birthday and my boyfriend got lasagna, bread sticks, cheese cake and drinks for her and my family today. The smell of the food made me sick lol ????
  2. According to my Dr, he doesn't put his band to sleeve patients on protein until 2 weeks post op
  3. I haven't tried yet, no protein until after 2 weeks post op
  4. Oh yes I do know about that, I needed help going to the bathroom also
  5. Wow ok, I am on all clear liquids for 2 weeks. But doing great, except for the back pains.
  6. I am doing great, walking is a challenge with the pain, but i refuse to be a bed person, it hurts the body. That hospital stay had me feeling like I slept to much, constant back pains, sleeping pattern is off, but doing well...so far so good.
  7. I had an extended stay at the hospital, but i am home now, trying to walk, walk, walk ????

  13. Tahnks, ya i am thinking the same, I guess I am afraid of my blood pressure before surgery, good advice and yes I think I better take care of myself before and after surgery☺
  14. Hi everyone, I am having surgery Sept 18 in Houston, I am from Crosby
  15. Anyone have a very stressful job and if so, did you take a few days off or day before surgery to prepare and relax? I was not planning on taking off work no more than needed and only planned the day of surgery and my recovery time. Anyone dealt with work related stress during the process before, during and after surgery, if so how did you deal with it?
  16. I have my preop meeting on Monday 9/15
  17. Thanks mrslb5, I was wondering because there are a lot of revision patients I have been reading require 2 week liquid diet pre-op. I guess it depends on the situation of the revision and the patient.
  18. Would like some feed back...am I the only revision from band to sleeve who's Dr doesn't require a liquid diet pre-op?
  19. Oh sorry... no my Dr office only requires liquids 1 day before surgery. I have an appointment on the 15th with my surgeon and surgery on the 18th. Every Dr is different that's for sure because a lot of members on this forum had to do liquids 2 weeks prior to surgery
  20. Yes all my preops were completed in July
  21. Thanks Miss Mac
  22. Thank you Summer Rain
  23. After thinking about it long and hard, I finally started my journey for revision from band to sleeve in June. I finished all my requirements which was a nutritionist and nut evaluation in July and after getting clearance from various Dr's about my results of blood, eco, fitness and EGD my paperwork was finally submitted to BCBSIL by my Dr office in August. I did have to constantly check the status with my Dr office and BCBS to make sure all was submitted and received, good thing to do because once BCBS received my paperwork, I was approved but it took days for the letter to get generated by the predetermination dept. I was told that it only takes 1 day for the letter to be sent out, so whatever the delay was, it led to really good customer service at BCBS. My rep was upset that I didn't get my letter the day it was supposed to be generated and she made sure to check daily for me and kept reminding the predetermination dept to send my letter ASAP. Today was finally that day, my Dr office received their copy and called me 1 hour after....my surgery is set for September 18.
