My aunt was banded by Dr. Ray about a year and a half ago and she is crazy about him!

Hi all! I went today for first post-op Dr. Appt. and all was well. pre-op -13 post-op -11 My port site is also still sore, but the Dr. said that was normal.

I was banded on Jan. 22 and wanted to see how everyone else was doing... I am doing pretty good. No pain, some soreness still at the port area. Down 13lbs. pro op, 9 post op. So, How is it going for you?:biggrin:

The Dr. calls it 4 weeks of liqiud, but it includes apple sauce, refried beans, thin oatmeal,- more mushie food stuff. How is everyones pain level today? Mine is mostly when I get up from a sitting position and that is more of a pulling sensation. Not much of the gas pain to speak of.

I was also banded on the 22nd! I had 2 days of clear liquids and then on to the full liquid diet for 4 weeks. I feel like it is taking me forever to get my drinks down.

OMG the Isopure Alpine Punch made me want to YAK!!!!! It makes me want to wretch thinking about it!

Thanks for the reply! I make it with splenda. I was just wanting another option. I didn't know if it mixed well or not.

Has anyone tried mixing unflavored protien powder with kool aid? I thought I would ask, I don't want to ruin my kool aid if it has been done and is nasty!

Hi All! I am im Columbus(about 45 min. south of Indy). Does anyone have any thoughts/experience with Dr. Millis or Dr. Lee at Columbus Regioal Medical?
