  3. Sorry about that..didn't mean to send the first post.
  4. Every Dr is different .I was told to take 2 Flintstones chewables everyday and 1000 mg of biotin to help minimize hair loss later .I was not given antibiotics. For me the incision sites were easily managed with a large icepack and a heat pad for shoulder pain. I tell everyone now to take your pain meds. Its easier to stay out of pain that to get out of it. Some meds I have to grind up. The worst for me was day 3 . I'm not quite 2 weeks post op and i feel really good. Congratulations to everyone coming up on your surgery dates. God bless.

  6. Congratulations on your surgery! Praying for a speedy recover. If you don't have a heat pad and an ice pack get them! Send someone for them after you get home. Take your meds, no shame in that! Eat lots of popsycles will help with the swelling. I'm not quite 2 weeks post op. My a week I felt great. The worst was the gas pain. Its all worth it!

  13. Hey sweetie..my gas is still bad also..haven't passes much and until yesterday it was hard to breathe! I alternate between heat and an ice pack. My shoulder pain is the worst of it .take your pain meds! Absolutely no shame in that! Praying you feel better soon. Oh and for me the gas x made it where I couldn't pass gas but that was my experience .

  15. Congrats...I had some pain. Mostly in my left shoulder. My surgery was the 26th and honestly I feel pretty darn good today. It will be worth it!!

  22. They were so good! Of course I only ate a few spoonfuls.lol I'm down 10 lbs this week. Of course anybody could do that on broth and Gatorade!
