  1. I'm 10 weeks out, and I eat about 500-650 calories per day. I avoid pasta, bread, rice, anything really sweet, I feel sick to my stomach when I attempt to consume them. 3 weeks into my journey I hit a stall, and now the weight is coming off very slowly. My 3 month appointment is scheduled for the first week of May and I'm nervous about going since my surgeon made me feel bad about my 3 week stall.

  15. I feel your pain, I had my surgery Feb 2nd and I start my puree diet on Monday the 16th. After 4 days, I ditched the protien powders, it was just too sweet for me. Now I use plain yogurt, pb2 powder, and half of a banana to give me the 20 grams of protein 3 times per day, hang in there, you be moved to pureed foods soon.

  17. I agree, i'm lucky I can at least tolerate the shake, speaking of which i'm tired of consuming it. it tastes so differently now that I'm post op. I also had surgery 9 days ago, it takes me forever to take my Protein shakes down, and probaby 3 teaspoons of Soup and i'm full. I have to wait 30 minutes to take my meds before I eat or drink rather. l was assured this is all normal.
