  1. That's AWSOME! I go for 6 week post op appointment Tom!
  2. I'm glad I didn't get tested.................. I did try to cut down but not eating and liquid diet is hard enough............ Take it day by day..... We all make mistakes and no one is perfect........ I still didn't stop and I'm 5 months out... I never stopped either and I'm worried I'm not healing as well! I'm 6 weeks out from being sleeved and never stopped! How did you heal so far at 5 months? Thanks for helping, I just can't stop and I know it's bad for my healing but geesh!
  3. Thanks! I too have lifted for years but didn't know if very lite would be fine! Sounds good! I go to Dr today, so I will ask them!
  4. No it's real and it's torture! Best of luck!
  5. I'm not sure but my hormones are crazy! I'm a male and I am having major hot flashes! They come and go and I have so much compassion for women who are in menopause! ????????
  6. Awesome! Ty and good luck to you!
  7. 4 weeks out post sleeve and wondered what your dr will let you do as far as exercise? I can only walk or elliptical but I'm ready for weight lifting! Thanks
  8. Wow! That's a long time! I'm glad your better! I'm doing well now! Ty!
  9. Hey guys, thanks for all the advice! I just left surgeon and had stitches put in! According to the PA this is very normal as I have been exercising a little too aggressively, so I will tone it down! thanks again everyone, I appreciate it I'm doing very well!
  10. I am 2 weeks post op and the left incision where they remove the stomach just opened! I had staples removed last thurs! It's deep, purple and nasty looking! Has this happened to anyone?
  11. HAve to order those! Ty!
  12. I don't have that store but I will order it! I just made a Macadamia white choc one, and it was delish!
  13. It is! It makes it totally change! I only use Primal Fuel! It's expensive but THE BEST! I'm going to use up the Bari essentials in vanilla the dr gave me but it's GROSS! Adding the pudding totally changed it! After it's gone, I'll only use the PF!
  14. Some powders are not tasty! So being the frugal guy I am, I add a half packet of choc ff/sf pudding mix to my 8oz unsweetened milk and the protein and whips up DELISH! Just wanted to share as I know how expensive powder can be! I see a lot of people giving it away! Just trying to help!
  15. @@sleevie I haven't had that issue but I am still very sore 8days post op! I have minor pains but none like yours! Hope it gets better!
  16. I need to lose 95lbs! 36 is big!? What size is yours? I'm in Dallas!
  17. Can someone explain ppi please! Thank u
  18. I was sleeved on 5-12 and I have 7 incisions. I too had a hernia repaired!
  19. @@cherry so happy for you! I went to the surgeon today and had a great report! He used a 36 bougie and I saw my stomach! It's tiny! Wow! Took out staples and now on phase 2! Good luck!
  20. That's my concern is leaks as well! I woke up from surgery and had no nausea and was able to drink ASAP! I've not had any problems with anything! All the sleeved people on here say that I'm either blessed or my surgery was done loose? I hope not. I'm going nuts with no answers!
  21. Hello guys I'm also new to the forum I'm also a guy I had my sleeve on May 12 (295) and have lost 21 pounds and I have had hardly any complications. the only concern that I have is that I'm able to drink quite a bit and still keep down all of my protein, I noticed that a lot of you cannot keep anything down or can barely eat your protein requirements so that concerns me that maybe my bougie was large. so I'm just really confused! I have an appointment with my surgeon today to remove staples and hopefully her answers! I would like to keep in contact with this groups progress as we were sleeved the same time.
  22. So happy to hear! Praise God! Did you throw up at all? I never had that issue? Can u keep water down? Keep me posted! Best of luck!
