I'm going through the same thing. I was approved In June with an anticipated surgery date of June 29th. I had to jump through many hoops. Now that I'm all finished, my advocate tells me August is all booked, it'll be September but does not know what date because she has to wait for September's schedule to come out. Frustrated right now because I have done all the requirements and been approved by my insurance but have not been given a date for surgery yet. My surgeon office has me doing additional requirements before they schedule me. They have me seeing a pulmonologist because I use to smoke, he want me to do a sleep study because I snore. I'm in Florida also. I have been approved by my insurance with an anticipated date of June 29th, which I know is not going to happen. My surgeon has me jumping through all kind of hoops. I had to see pulmonalogist because I use to smoke and I snore. They running all kind of test. Just had to get an chest x-ray done, got a call this morning that I have enlarged thyroids and he will not be clearing me for surgery until I get that under control. I had to see a pulmonologist, I guess because I snore and ex-smoker. Surgeon wanted a chest x-ray. I get there and he wants to do a sleep study and all kind of test. I'm really aggravated, that's the only thing that's holding me back.

Due to my work schedule and cost i have not been able to do my psych evaluation yet. I was looking around for someone closer to where I live and cheaper or who will accept my insurance, I found psychevaluation.com who says they will accept my insurance and its done over the phone with a licensed psychiatrist.
