  5. Yes I think it's a yoga thing but I really think if I plank it will help me greatly as I want my surgery to mean something as I'm sure everyone does but I've seen a lot who didn't care about getting more fit just wanted to get skinny to get more compliments.

  7. May I ask what you put in this smoothie? I am having surgery June 24th and I wanna build muscle cause I'm pretty heavy and expect a lot of loose skin but I'm hoping with good muscle tone it want be as bad..... Thank you for your help.
  8. Can you get premier shake powder or does it only come in already made shakes? I wish I knew someone I could pay to get mine and ship them but I bet it would be expensive.
  9. 3 liters of water seems like a lot I can barely do that now and i don't have surgery till June 24th.

  11. I think you look great .... I'm 37 has 4 children and I got over 200 pounds I need to loose. I am seriously afraid of my upcoming body issues but I think I'm going to be so happy healthy that it want matter to much.

  13. Does anyone have any protein powder they can't use or tolerate or anything else we may need right after surgery? If you want to donate I will donate anything I m unable to use as well. Just wanted to ask and if you are wondering I am in the Northeast Georgia area
  14. Ours is 30/30 no drinking 30 before or 30 after and carbonated drinks can cause more damage then just stretching
  15. I just got mine as well... I'm having the bypass but mine will be June 24th.
  16. Lol... Yep no pressure.... I am so scared of not loosing and those that wanted me fail will get everything they ever wanted. I'm scared of how I might look, I'm scared of getting attention from men, I'm scared of a lot of stuff that in one way sounds stupid and in another way scares me to death.
  17. After many years and months and just gut wrenching days I finally have my surgery date for the gastric bypass its the 24th of June and I am so nervous... I'm not afraid of dying because I where I stand in my faith but I so nervous of screwing everything up. Did anyone else feel this this way?

  19. I've been big my entire life as well.... I agree no one understands that we've never been able to the simple stuff like the slim take for granted everyday. I'm glad I'm in my way.
  20. You will discover a whole new you!! It is an exciting time in your life. Enjoy the ride, and remember that when you have your first stall at about 1 month post op it is normal and don't freak out. It will pass and it does not mean you have stopped losing weight!I've made up my mind I'm not going to weigh but on my surgery day each month I do not even own a scale. I've had to many to become obsessive about weighing and how much they've lost or didn't loose and frankly it's exhausting! Lol
  21. Wow music1618 you look fantastic.... Yes I want to do a picture on the same day as my surgery every month. I have came to far and I've now waited about 11 years for this surgery (long story). I finally getting my biggest dream and I cannot wait. I just want to be able to simple everyday things. People just do not understand what's its like not being to do those everyday things they take for granted. And, it's not cause I'm lazy lol I would love to do all they do but, my day is coming

  23. I got my approval and am getting my Gastric Bypass done on the 24th of June. I'm considering it my new birthday. Does any one have pointers on getting ready the last few weeks before surgery? Thank you all and be blessed!!!
  24. Ginger, That's great I'm usually around someone but like you said them nor my children can provide the companionship I seek. I am ok but the desire to share my life with someone is always there. I believe this is a Journey God needs me to take alone so I will depend on him more. I'm ok with that
