  1. I hope he is feeling better!
  2. Merry Christmas to you too!!!
  3. I am posting one day early this week. I am at 201.6!!! I am so psyched to get into wonderland soon - even during the Christmas season! I never thought it would be possible. I couldn't be happier!
  4. Mine started at 3 months and went until about 6 1/2 months. I had high protein, biotin and all my vitamins and it fell out in clumps at one point. It's not so bad - it stopped and is not noticeable to anyone besides me and my hairdresser.
  5. I had a few mixed vodka drinks at dinner Saturday night, and I felt it burn my poor stomach. I don't think I will be anxious to do that again. I am 7 months out.
  6. I absolutely notice and I'm amazed at how much food gets eaten at dinners. I am 7 months out and I can eat more than I used to. I have become a master at making it look like I am eating more than I am so those who I don't care to let know I had the surgery don't notice. I've noticed that only the people who know I had the surgery notice how much I eat. The rest don't. But back to the original question, I used to eat as much as everyone else still does - if not more!
  7. I think I'm in a bit of a stall....206.2 this week.
  8. An entire pint of Ben & Jerry's. A mixing bowl filled with cereal. A whole big bag of Halloween candy. Half a pound of pasta. I'm sure I could go on, but you must get the idea. When I think of how much I used to be able to eat, I'm in awe and I'm sad. What was wrong with my stomach that I could literally keep down that much food all at once?!
  9. I won't be able to weigh myself tomorrow, so I did it one day early....weight this week: 206.4 Onederland is right around the corner!!!!!!
  10. I felt very sad right around 3 weeks or so after surgery. But I can tell you that it didn't last long at all. Once the weight started coming off really fast and people noticed, it was like a high and I forgot all about being sad! I think I was mourning the loss of my favorite bad foods and the "rituals" I had for eating. Such as a huge breakfast before work every morning, snacking in the afternoon at work, snacking on the ride home from work and them of course eating a huge dinner full of carbs. I spent a lot of time getting food and hiding food and eating in private. That time is now all freed up and I felt lost at first, like what do I do now? There is definitely a mourning and adjustment period, but for me, it didn't last very long and I've never looked back. I am extremely happy with my results so far (surgery 6 1/2 months ago - down a total of 122 pounds from a HW of 328). Your sadness will go away soon, I'm sure of it!
  11. I am posting today (a day early) for this week. 208.2 Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!!
  12. I'm with you! I hope to lose 2 pounds this week!!! It's only one day!!!
  13. 210.6 today. Onederland is soooo close!!!
  14. My drive is super low too and I just can't understand why. I haven't looked or felt this good in years. I don't even want my hubby to touch me at all sometimes. For him I do it - but I could completely go without indefinitely. And I was never ever like this before. It was at least every other day. I don't know why this has happened.
  15. I had surgery May 15th this year. I was 305 day of surgery and 328 when I started the liquid diet 3 weeks before surgery. Today I am 215! Onederland is so close! I haven't been there since sometime in the 1990's. I am beyond thrilled and know that this is by far the best thing I have ever done for myself! I have gone from a size 26 to a size 16. I look and feel so much better. And out in the world people actually treat me better (which is a reflection on society and not me) but whatever - I will take it! I move easier, can wear heels again, things don't ache like they used to, and I can actually run again. I couldn't be happier!!!
  16. I won't have a chance to post tomorrow, so here it is a day early! Starting weight: 215 Goal: 199 Thank you again Susan for doing this! I really look forward to these challenges!!
  17. I won't have the chance to post my final weight tomorrow for this challenge, so I am posting it here now.....I am happy to report that my goal was 219 and I am at 217.4 this morning. Woop woop!! Yay me!!!!! See you for the holiday challenge!!!! Thank you Susan! I really look forward to this!
  18. Count me in as well! Thank you Susan for doing this as well as the Halloween challenge! I am going to do well this holiday season, and I am praying for one-der-land as my New Year's gift to myself!!!! Can't wait!
  19. 220.4 today!! Woot-woot!!! Almost to my Halloween goal of 219! So excited!!!
  20. 224.2 today Getting closer to my Halloween goal of 219!!
  21. I was 328 before pre-op diet for 3 weeks. 305 day of surgery May 15, 2014. Today I am 227. I have lost a total of 101 pounds - and 78 of them have been since surgery. I am beyond proud, beyond excited.....every day is so much easier. I can move and bend and do all of the things you can't do when you have an extra 100 pounds on you! My goal is 150, so I still have a way to go, but size 16 in jeans sure beats size 24-26!!! This is by far the best thing I have ever done for myself! I got my life back!
  22. Thank you so much!!!! I am so proud!!!!!!
  23. 227.2 today Today marks the day that I have officially lost 100 pounds!!!!!
