  1. oppps! Sorry for that. IPAD is not as graceful as a computer when it comes to typing. Besides gas and arthritis pains since i have lost so much fat that my folds may be creating a type of discomfort when i sleep. I did not know i had to deal with this so far out from the surgery. Nevertheless, i still am happy with the weight loss. I do thank god each day we have place to discuss these issues out rather going crazy on what "now" attitude. I also recommend to always ask our surgeons and/or doctor if anything comes up. That is a part of the after care that they should provide. Thanks again!
  2. A follow up and also a deep thanks to all those that contributed to the post. I guess i was suffering gas issue along with atheric
  3. No regrets! I also did it when I was ready for the surgery. At first I thought I was ready a few years back when the only option for me at the time was the bypass. I was wrong. I am happy that I was forced to wait it out due to better options and more education about the sleeve.
  4. Well.. LOL.. I am still concerned that something is wrong. My friend says it could be gas trapped.
  5. I removed my gallbladder in 1999.
  6. Congrats! I also going through the motions of perceptions of what i see and what current size i am. I just remind myself that i need to average out both perceptions and take it with a grain of salt. The truth is what size i fit in with comfort rather too big or too tight. From 4X to XL is great, but i have some more to lose.
  7. As of lately i have experienced back on near the center after i eat a meal. Have anyone experienced such things? I know i am getting full if i sneeze or have hiccups or both. I was wondering if this is related?
  8. My final straw was that my doctors were indifferent with me because i did not add up the reasons behind most of my ills. The weight was straining my knees and not helping my balance issues. Finally one doctor had the courage to tell it to me straight " either lose weight or die". That was enough for me. Enough of the pain and get back to life.
  9. As previously mentioned, please consult with your NUT and doctor about any supplements. In my case, I researched high and low for the magic pill or supplement to help with skin and the hair issues that is covered in our lovely blog. I found the following pill. Its from Irwin Naturals brand - Deep Tissue Collagen- Pure. The reason i gravitated to this was because I was tired eating Jello with extra Gelatin to get in the collagen to help out the diet. I felt uncomfortable with the coloring and other unnatural ingredients that are questionable and just not good for you. So far my skin is healthy and responding slowly to the changes. I have experienced some hair loss, but I know it could be worse. I hope this helps out. http://www.irwinnaturals.com/products/womens-formulas/collagen-pure/

  11. I took pills as it was small enough ti fit in my new tummy. I understand the after effects of surgery and how it was difficult to swallow anything. It does get better with time and I understand the avoidance of smashing pills. That is disgusting and I hate when doctors are so unemphatic towards patient's discomfort.
  12. I enjoyed all Quest products. I guess its all a matter of taste or the change of taste. I know I used to like Isopure products before the surgery but now I can't even stand seeing them. So I understand. Along those lines if anyone would like to get rid of them let me know! I take donation. Willing to pay for postage.
