  1. I am the same weight as last week, 158 lbs. Halloween goal = 145lbs
  2. My coworker had RNY in Feb 2013 and delivered a healthy 7lb baby girl on 5/27/14. Congrats and good luck on your pregnancy and weight loss journey
  3. Way to go Tyt! I am a size 12 also. Can't wait to get to a size 8. Good luck on the rest of your journey
  4. You are doing great. When was the last time you lost that much weight in so little time? Please try to be patient. Your body is trying to make sense of all the weight you have already lost. Don't get discouraged. Just keep following the plan and watch those pounds melt away ????
  5. Happy Surgiversary! You look great
  6. Way to go Nibbles. You look fantastic! Good luck on losing the last 20 lbs I find myself doing the same thing when I see my reflection in a window.
  7. Congratulations and good luck on the rest of your journey
  8. I agree with McButterpants, be patient and don't compare yourself to others. Most importantly, do not get discouraged. Most everyone experiences the dreaded stalls which can be frustrating. Just continue to follow your plan as prescribed and you will definitely see the weight come off. I have personally experienced at least 4 stalls since being sleeved on 4/8/14. I believe I am a slow loser but a loser none the less. I am currently 61 lbs lighter in just 5 months (I never could have done that before the sleeve). I went from a size 20 to a size 12 (trying to get to a size 8). As long as I continue to get in my required amounts and more of Protein, Water and exercise, I do not worry about what the scale says. I wish you much success on your journey.
  9. You look great! Love the black dresses. I agree with your NUT about going back to basics to help you lose the last 50 lbs. I am also an emotional eater and it doesn't matter what I eat when I get emotional so I keep good foods/snacks in my house to eat during emotional times. Chips are my weakness so I don't even bring them into my house. Good luck on your journey.
  10. Way to go. You look fantastic!
  11. Hi rhfactor. I had the gastric sleeve but it took almost 3 months before my energy really got back to normal. Now I feel great and have lots of energy. I think the time frame may vary from person to person. It will definitely get better. Good luck on your journey.
  12. Starting weight - 158 Halloween goal weight - 145

  14. You look great Sparklecat!
  15. Please count me in. This will be my first challenge woohoo.
  16. Your story is so inspirational. And you look awesome. Keep up the good work!
  17. Hi Hannah, I'm only 4.5 months out. I had a very difficult time eating in the beginning so I wasn't getting my recommended amounts of Protein and Water. I wasn't losing weight like I wanted because of this. I started supplementing with more high Protein shakes instead of regular food. Maybe you might do better if you drink your protein. I hope your situation changes soon. Good luck!
  18. Congratulations on starting your journey. As long as you follow the plan provided by your surgeon and NUT you will do just fine. I wish you all the best.
  19. Wow! Wonderful transformation. Congratulations!
  20. Hi Jay15, I personally don't keep any food triggers in my house because I know I would eat them. I suggest that you keep a stock pile of healthy Snacks that you are able to eat. This seems to work for me. Good luck to you.
  21. OMG Lou, you look amazing! Your journey has been a long one and I'm so happy for you. Like you, I was skeptical about getting the bypass. I started my weight loss journey 5 or 6 years ago. I went thru two different bariatric programs and then backed out at the last minute. Back in 2012 I had finally completed all the necessary appointments to have the surgery. When my surgeon's office called me to schedule my surgery I told them that I had decided to lose weight on my own. I managed to lose about 45 pounds but ended up gaining it all back. I finally decided to just have the bypass surgery. But when I went back to my doctor he told me about the sleeve. I knew the sleeve was for me. I was sleeved on 4/8/14. I am currently down 60lbs. I love my sleeve! I wish you all the best on your journey.
  22. Everyone looks amazing!
  23. Woohoo! Kept up the great work.
