  12. Us nurses are quite a breed right? I think we have seen so much it's just crazy to not consider all the complications- I keep going back to the surgical consultation and I asked if this was his daughter or wife would he recommend and he said absolutely! My primary care md was so excited for me when we discussed and recommended it for me and my situation wholeheartedly and said she hasn't always felt that way about WLS. Can't wait to be on the losers bench and move forward

  19. That's me healthy and fat! Oh can't forget "such a pretty face and great smile" they tell me. I know your story so well .... Except WLS surgery still to come 7/2014- thanks for sharing and love your pics!!!
  20. Amyjo Good to hear! My legs just kill me after 12 hour shifts- I wanna run circles around my coworkers and I wanna stop bumping the overbed table with my hips!
  21. Ha love your excitement! I get excited then worry and go back and forth
  22. Best to you tomorrow! Go get your new life!!!
  23. Vanessak8 Haha I thought the same thing about WLS earlier in life. I'm 51 yr with no medical issues. It sounds like following directions to the T is important- but I'm sure you know sometimes stuff just happens. But on the weight track I'm on now without WLS stuff will happen it's just a matter of time.
  24. Vanesak8 I thought the same thing about the consent! I wonder if we are using the same dr or that is standard industry practice? I'm in California.. And I had to rewrite the statements in my own words to show I understood the procedure and total 9 pages!. I've had patients sign consent for surgery but nothing like this!
