Yeah three weeks away.!!!!!! Is everyone getting excited?!!!!!!!

Congratulations on your anniversary. Yeah I am trying to ween into the liquid diet. Have started with Protein shakes for Breakfast. Now will you have all liquid? My doc lets you have one small sensible meal a day.

Happy Birthday to you! It is a shame that insurances still do not recognize bariatric surgery. But what a better investment but in yourself. Wishing all the success in the world.

Hi all. Just checking in with everyone to see how things Re going. It is 28 days away YEAH!!!! Anxiously awaiting the call for pre admission testing,

I joke that I came out of my mom at 9 lbs 1 oz and just kept going. I was the fat kid in class that everyone made comments about made fun of,Okies can be mean right. By the time I was in high school I became anorexic/ bulimic and went down quite a bit. Was really hard to stop that, but getting married, you kinda did not want that secret out with your husband. Always struggled with the weight. I wound up being diagnosed with hypothyroid to the extreme. Weight came on hard and fast and I lost control. I am looking forward to the surgery so that I can get on top of the weight loss again. : )

At least your insurance will pay for the surgery. Do you at least like him?

Very excited. I have been working on this for almost a year. I wish I could hop on the table tomorrow. I am looking forward to this next part of my life. I know it will not be easy but it's got to be better...lol. How is your journey going?

I understand your concern. I too am afraid of it as well. I know two that have failed and one that is on their way. I have struggled with weight my whole life. I love this site. It gives you encouragement that you can do it. The surgery is a tool, as well as this site. I believe if you use the tools and keep your mind focused your goals can be achieved. Positive thoughts equal positive outcomes... Stay positive. Stay strong and keep telling your self you can do i! Do you have a date yet?

I have read that after the surgery due to malnutrition you lose energy. I know that carrying the weight zaps your energy. I also have hypothyroid that takes my energy. I just want to know that you get energy back. Thanks for any feed back.

Hi. I have Cigna. I have competed the NUT visits and went down 5 in four months. Not for lack of trying. I have maintain the same weight for the past 2.5 months. Again still working on trying to lose. I was approved for my surgery. Date is July 1st. Check with your doctors office, they should be able to advise you. Wishing you the best.
