    Struggling

I had surgery May 14th and I have lost 41 pounds and quite a few inches. I have had a couple of stalls but it eventually kicks back in. Are you tracking your food? Drinking enough fluids? Slow and steady! Hang in there
  2. Same boat. I have some size 20 jeans and pants and was hoping they would fall off after losing 30 pounds and 14 inches.....wrong. They actually fit comfortably with some wiggle. The waist no longer cuts off my circulation lol :-)

I was sleeved on May 14th and I am down 30 pounds. 25 pounds is great. You also need to celebrate inches lost.

    1 Month Out

Congratulations!!!! I was 4 weeks on Wednesday and I am down 25 pounds! !!
  8. I will be 4 weeks post op and Wednesday and have been at a stall since the beginning of week 2. I have been shooting for 70g of protein per day. I got on the scale today and finally 2lbs gone. Are you tracking your food? You gotta get the protein in. Helps with healing. I am on soft foods and use my shakes as a snacks. I struggle with the water but I push as much as I can. We WILL get there!
  9. Hang in there. 3 weeks out and in the same boat. I even had the nerve to try on clothes hoping they would extremely loose. Its not time yet. We'll get there and it will come off. I had to throw my scale in the closet
  10. I am 3 weeks out and only needed pain meds for a week and half. I did start again a couple of days ago because i have pain above my large incision. I hear its just part of healing, but whew it hurts

4 weeks Post Op and Stuck

I am 3 weeks today and the scale is stuck. I have researched and researched and it appears this is normal. I have to hide the scale. I have been on liquids so I was expecting continuous loss. I am down 20 pounds and just have to look on the bright side, I am down 20 pounds and couldn't have done it without surgery
  12. I tried milk and it didn't do so well with me and I was a milk lover prior to surgery.
  13. Just went through that this weekend. Had my follow up yesterday and all is well. The doctor said to take it easy on my walks, don't rush it. Said they reallt dug around during surgery so the soreness is normal. Also told me to add some fiber to my liquids to get things "moving" cause constipation messes with the abdomen (bloated, etc). I feel a lot better today.
  14. Almost 3 weeks post op and my belly looks and is very bloated. The right side incision actually seems more tender. Feels like more gas has built up. My follow up appointment is tomorrow

    4 days post-op

I am 2 weeks post op and each day gets better. I still have some gas but it is more of the bloated feeling. That horrible surgery gas pain went away in a couple days.
  16. I am a 5/14ther and I am down 12 pounds. Funny as a woman i started at the same weight but I am 262 today. I feel awesome. My incisions are still sore and my belly is still swollen some but I am walking 40 min a day. Having a hard time with protein. I am tired of the sweet taste. I am really excited about the weeks to come.
  17. I am 1 week post op today as well and feel pretty good. I had to walk when I was in the hospital and every day after. The rumbles were gas, but trust me walking has been my lifesaver. I am up to 20 minutes of walking twice per day.
  18. I was sleeved yesterday by Dr John Marsden. I went to the True Results location in Richardson
