  1. I had surgery July 15th and I am down 36 lbs since surgery day, and a total of 72 lbs. since June. I feel great, but now I have no interest in eating food. I am getting my fluids in, but not my protein.
  2. My surgery was 7/15 and weighed myself this morning and I am down 50 lbs from my first weigh-in. Met my first goal, now on to the next 60 lbs I need to lose.
  3. I had my surgery 7/15 and feel great. I walk 1/2-1 mile a day right now(really bad knees). I am down 47 lbs. since my first weigh-in.
  4. I am only suppose to have a 1/4 cup at one sitting. I made a lean hamburger with cheese and I only could eat a quarter of it. I make one scrambled egg for breakfast and I am full.
  5. How do you get 80-100 g of protein in, I am two weeks out and can't get nearly that amount of protein in. I can barely eat 1 oz. of chicken and I am stuffed.
  6. I am only getting 300-400 calories in a day. I just am not hungry. I am doing soft foods, mainly soft chicken. I am only 2 weeks post op, and only have lost 10 lbs. I am a little frustrated that I have not lost anymore. I am walking everyday.
  7. That would also make me dump, my program is less than 10g of sugar and fat.
  8. I had my surgery on 7/15. I really have not had any pain, just a little soreness. I have not taken any pain meds since I came home on the 16th. I am getting in 60g of protein shake a day and plenty of water and crystal light. I am so ready for some scrambled eggs or some mashed potatoes. I can handle cold ice water also. I am craving salt so much since I don't like soups, all the stuff I have been able to have are sweet.
  9. My surgery was 7/15 and my doctor has me going back on 7/30.
  10. Mine is 7/15. I just finished day 3 of the pre-op diet.
  11. I am, surgery is July 15th. Just started the liquid diet today. I don't like soup so I am having yogurt for lunch and dinner and 3 protein shakes a day. I can also have sugar-free pudding, jello and applesauce.
  12. I would love to be able to go zip-lining on vacation. I have not been able to because of my weight.
  13. Just got my surgery date today. I will start my new life of being healthy on July 15. I am excited and nervous!!
  14. Hi, I am new here and I am having gastric bypass in July and we are going on a family cruise the beginning of December. I am wondering if I will be able to eat anything on this cruise?? Has anyone gone on vacation 5 months after surgery?? Any information you be very appreciated. Thank you
  15. I am also from Minnesota and going through HealthEast Bariatric. I don't have a surgery date yet, but I do have my last appt. with my Nut. On Friday May 9th. After that it will go to the insurance company. I am hoping for a fast approval.
