Congrats and good luck! I had mine done two weeks ago in Tj! There was a few days at the beginning that I wondered if I made the right choice, but now I'm sure I did ! What doctor ?

Hi there! I'm from alberta and just had surgery in Tijuana with dr.almanza on July 25th, if you want to pm I can share my expience and details with you!

I told the people closest to me because I'm a horrible liar but I do not want to make it public for the simple fact that I feel a bit ashamed that I can't do it on my own and need the surgery at all! I also don't need any negativity attached to this experience with people's opinions!! Although I will say everyone that I have told have been very supportive and super happy for me! In the future I may tell more but for now it's between me and my closest friends and family!

Hey everyone! I'm a but confused on the post op diets my doctors seems pretty quick and whenever I google it. I find something different! What was your post op diet like or what worked for you?

That is strange! I'll be going in to full fluids on friday(1 week post op) and I can have cream soups!

Hey everyone I'm 4 days post op and having a hard time taking in much! I have about 1/4 cup of broth and I'm stuffed! And then I've been trying to drink but it takes me so long and don't get in much! How much were you taking in at this point?

I wish the rules were all the same too! There is do much contradiction! I was just sleeved on Friday! I'm allowed broth and clear liquids for 2 weeks but feeling very hungry! Confused though cause I thought we weren't supposed to feel hungry ! Haha

We'll ladies my surgery is today just had some tests and will be heading to hospital shortly! I'm with a great group of women and we are having a great time talking about our situations and calming each other's fears!! Good luck to everyone having it done today!!!

We'll I'm on my way to the airport! My surgery is tomorrow in mx with dr.almanza! I'm very nervous but excited to have this done and to start my new life!! Good luck to everyone in the next couple days!!

I totally understand, I have read all kinda of things that have made me question my decision , but know that my family has been there and seen it first hand makes me feel so much better!

I will let you know how things go with dr.almanza! I have had family go to him and have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and the facility!

Well my surgery is July 25th! I've been on the liquid diet since Monday and have lost 9.5lbs so far! One more week to go! I'm starting to freak out a little and wondering I this is what I should be doing! The liquid diet is challenging that's for sure and I wonder if I can live off liquids and SOft foods for the next 6 weeks! Anyone else feeling like this?

I was reading up on this today as well and am wondering the same things!!

I have heard very good things about dr. Almanza and am scheduled for surgery with him on July 25! If you want to message me I can let you know how my experience was! I have several family members that have been to him and are super happy with the results!

Hey ladies I'm from Drayton valley! I'm scheduled for surgery on July 25 with dr.almanza in Mexico! I too started the weight wise clinics but felt like they were pushing me for surgery and at the time I wasn't ready! But finally made my decision a month and a bit ago after a lot of research and here I am only 18 days left! Eeekk
