  1. It looks like its healing from the inside out but when in doubt, have your regular doc check it. It does look gooey, doesn't it?
  2. I was banded Oct 5th. I started out on full liquids and I ate yogert with no problem. I haven't had any nausea since I left the hospital. I would agree with your mom, teaston, call the center. They will be able to answer your questions.
  3. I was banded Oct. 5th and I am having a lot of port pain and abdomenal pain from the gas. I"m taking 2 weeks off from work although my boss told me I could have 3 weeks. I'm having a lot more pain than I expected. I hope it feels better soon.
  4. I agree that your doc should have given you an idea of what to eat. I had to see a nutritionist and I have a four week diet plan. I'm sure it is very frustrating but soon you will be filled and losing. Beth
  5. Great post!! You hit the nail on the head with that one! Beth
  6. I'm a floor nurse and I'm getting banded Oct. 5th. My doc says 2 weeks because there is no light duty for nurses on my floor. I have to lift people and do a lot of running around. thank goodness my manager just had bypass 2 months ago - she said take as long as I need. Beth
  7. I had my galbladder out a week ago and will have the band in two weeks. My doc made me wait because of the risk of infection. I would rather wait and not deal with infection.
  8. My band date is Oct. 5th. Thanks, Beth
