  2. I was sleeved on April 15th and also had a hiatal hernia. I contacted my Dr. after I got back in the states because I was having discomfort and pain. It turned out that it was due to the hernia. My Dr. had me take 40 mg for Protonix every 12 hours and everything was fine after that. It is a Rx only medication so thank goodness I was in contact with my regular US doctor and my doctor from Mexico. I was able to forward what my Mexico Dr. suggested to me US Dr asap and get out of discomfort. good luck, Denise
  3. I have tried them all. I even did the bariatric diet and lost 129pd and gained it all back in one year. I am so grateful for my Dr. and the sleeve. Good luck tomorrow. I had my surgery on April 15th 2014.

  5. I went to Mexico and whet through this medical company with this Doctor http://www.mexicobariatriccenter.com/all-doctors-list/dr-louisiana-valenzuela/ Dr. Valenzuela was amazing, my care was better than I have ever received in a hospital and I was in Mi Hospital. I liked this medical group they were very attentive at every single stage of my surgery. Even now if I have a question I can email my doctor and she got right back to me in a few min. on a Sunday. Good luck to you, Denise

  7. I went to Mexico and I had a wonderful Dr. I had some of the best medical care I have ever had. I went through this group http://www.mexicobariatriccenter.com/specialties-list/our-surgeons/ My Dr. was Louisiana Valenzuela, MD. And I had it done at Mi hospital. I had 2 Doctors an internist and then the regular team that worked with them in surgery as well as hospital staff. The hospital was clean and everyone was very caring and attentive. I had my surgery on April 15th, 2014 and have already lost 30 pds. I weighted 315. I trust this medical group, they are reputable and amazing. Good luck on your journey! P.S. Here is my doctors website http://www.mexicobariatriccenter.com/all-doctors-list/dr-louisiana-valenzuela/ She is more than qualified
  8. I have strait talk and that is track phone which is also net10. it worked in San Diego and then I downloaded Viber and that let me talk to my family who also downloaded Viber, for free from Mexico.
  9. Drink bottled Water. You will be provided with the water by the hospital and hotel. What group are you going through?
  10. Does anyone know when I can have coffee? I had my surgery on April 15th. I would really like a cup of coffee. I'm in phase 2 and doing well. I have lost 28 pd and staying on the diet to the tee. Thanks
  11. I had surgery on April 15th, 2014 my Dr. was Louisiana Valenzuela, MD. I had an amazing experience. The staff was wonderful and they knew what they were doing. I went through this group http://www.mexicobariatriccenter.com/ I paid a little more but my care was the best I have ever had. You should have a contact person on this side of the boarder that I could talk to, so I didn't feel like I needed to call the hospital. Good luck to you and I hope your experience is a wonderful as mine was.
