  6. Well, I went to the doctors today. My blood pressure was 82/56, which is kinda low. She gave me and EKG and took my blood pressure laying down, sitting and standing and it was doing the opposite of what it was suppose to do. When it came down to it she said I need to drink the 64 oz of Water and eat a little more salt. I was slacking on my water in take. She's sending me for an EEG just to make sure I didnt have a seizure because when I passed out, both times I urinated on myself. Super embarrassing. But for the most part I have to drink more water. Thanks for all the replies!!!
  7. Thanks guys! Low blood sugar had crossed my mind also.

  10. Hi- I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Twice now I have passed out. I have narrowed it down in my head to dehydration. Both days that this happened was on a Saturday and on the weekends sometimes I forget to drink my Water like I should. I have talked to my doctor about this but she said she hasnt seen this be common in post surgery patients and referred me to a neurologist but just interested if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks!!
  11. Im in the Detroit metro area and love would a support group. Beaumont has one but if you didnt get your surgery done there you have to pay to go to the support groups.
  12. I traveled with my two year old one month after surgery and was fine. If you dont have any unusual complications you should be fine. I would try and bring some things you know you can eat or pick some up at the grocery store when you get there.

  14. I was sleeved on 4/21 and am down 30 pounds. I go through stalls. I was stuck at 220 for a while and now I'm stuck at 208. It was good to hear I'm not too far off from everybody!
  15. I had my sleeve on April 21st and still have indigestion. The main thing that everybody tells me is to slow down eating. Eating slowly and sip on fluids. I'm hoping this will go away in time.
  16. I would make sure you get up and move a lot. The main thing is not getting any blood clots. Under normal circumstances I don't think you can fly for 3 or 4 weeks after. Good luck!!!

  20. I didn't realize. I hadn't seen a puréed topic but also didn't search it. Thanks for the info!
  21. Hi All - I am just entering the pureed part of the diet on Monday. Does any one have any favorites or good suggestions? Nothing pureed sounds good right now. Thanks!!

  23. Im 9 days out and I get about 50 grams a day. And it is a struggle to do it. Protein shakes and anything else I try for Protein such as yogurt and cottage cheese gives me bad indigestion. Right now I sip on Water all day and my Protein shake and try and do a yogurt at night.
  24. Hi Karen- I had mine done on the 21st by Dr. Michael Wood. His office is in madison heights and he performs the procedure at Harper downtown.
