  4. Congrats to all the prego ladies in here. I got pregnant 8 months post op with my first after 7 years of trying. I am currently 38 wks and extremely anxious to see my baby girl. For those of you ttc, do not obsess or stress yourself out. I literally made up my mind to adopt when I found out I was pregnant. So this was a welcome surprise. Belly rubs to all the expectant mothers and best of luck to those ttc.
  5. I too got pregnant with my first 8 months post op. DH and I tried to get pregnant for 7 years. I was told it was my weight, which is why I opted to get sleeved. BEST decision I ever made. Getting pregnant came as a surprise to me. I am currently 38 wks 2 days, so any day now. Best of luck to those who are trying. Don't give up and don't stress too much. I seriously had given up hope and had made up my mind to adopt when I found out I was pregnant. So don't obsess over it and let it happen naturally.

  7. Jrhsangel, Thanks for the advice. Congratulations on your sleeve! How was the surgery? Let me tell you, I am pretty much freaking out right now. I think the thought of undergoing anesthesia is what's freaking me out. How long after surgery did you wake up? Do you feel pain from your incisions?
  8. I'm actually getting in Saturday night. So I believe my hubby and I will be picked up at our hotel by Abraham before he heads to the Airport to pick up other patients. I wonder how many other patients will be flying in?
  9. Phil, I'm also scheduled for surgery on the 26th with Dr. Elias Ortiz. It's good to know there's someone else scheduled that day. I'm kind've freaking out about undergoing surgery on Memorial of all days, but that's just me. Lol. Did you schedule your surgery thru A Lighter Me? If so, we'll most likely meet up in the van when Abraham comes and picks us up.

  12. Nessa, Yes, maybe we'll meet up while we're there. I am extremely nervous but excited at the same time. It's good to know someone else will be there around the same time.
  13. Hi, Anyone getting sleeved May 26th? I'm extremely nervous as I'm flying from a little island in the South Pacific to get sleeved in Mexico. Would be nice to meet other patients going thru ALM.My surgeon is Elias Ortiz.
