Hi Ginger: Dr Yau should have his license revoked. He performed an endoscopy on me last year and when I went for a follow up he told me everything was fine. Two days later I got a call from my family doctor who received the same test results and he told me I I had H Pylori. I read on another post that Dr Ali Azrati (416 222-1932) will do fills/defills for $120. I have not contacted him yet but would love to hear what you think if you go to him.

Success!! Seeing Dr Yau at the end of the month. I will report what he has to say about this whole thing.

Hi Anna: Are we cut off or do they want us to pay for fills and defills? My understanding is that we no longer receive free lifetime support which sucks but I do believe they will see you provided you pay them. I have an appointment with Dr Yau this month and I will address this issue with him to see what we can do (not holding my breath on this one). I know thre are a couple of threads on this issue and some members were looking at a legal solution. Search TLBC on this website and they will pop up. As for me, I had the gall to challenge Slimband on this on their website and now I'm completely cut off and can't even post. No loss for me because I think their website sucks but....

So I tried to login to the Slimband Website and I was told that my privileges were suspended for and I quote: “Sorry! Your participation privileges were suspended by Community Managers for persistent abusive behavior: Please contact support@slimband.com with any questions or concerns.” Now I admit that I posted what is happening to us TLBC patients on the website but the moderator took it down 24 hours later. However it was there long enough to spark some conversation . That was months ago!! I guess that was when they decided to chastise me and kick me out of the group. They didn't have the courtesy to advise me that I was no longer 'welcome' in their little rah rah club and yet I still get e-mail notifications about recent posts. How stupid is that? I asked for an explanation so we'll see what they have to say.
