Hi AllgirlToo I feel the same way, I am scared. I have to keep the tears from coming down. the whole process went by fast, about 3 months. When I recieved the call from the Dr.s office, I didnt anwser the phone and finally called them back about 4 hrs later I start my liquid diet tomorrow. the next 14 days will consist of 2 protien drinks and 1 small meal. that I can manage. I have my pre-op appt 12/19, I truly feel that day will be the day I make my final decision. I will miss food so much. I did enjoy chinese today with my husband, I felt sad, yet happy that I will soon be able to end my affair with food. SC surgery date 12/26/07

I start my pre-op diet on wednsday. X 2wks Breakfast - one Protein drink and 1 fruit (4oz) lunch - 1 Protein Drink dinner - 4 oz protien my choice, 4 oz vegetable my choice no snaking, increase my Water intake. up exercise I will follow my diet to the letter. I want to prevent any complications. I am mentaly preparing myself for the holidays SC Surgery date 12/26/07

Hi Gayle. My surgery date is 12/26. day after x-mas. 14 days pre-op diet starts 12/12. yummy 2 protien drinks and 1 small small small dinner. But it will be well worth it. SC

I have BlueCross in Cali, and I aslo was approved in days.All you have to do, is contact number on back of card and ask if they pay for WLS and get approved Dr.s info SC surgery date 12/26/07

Hi ladies and gents. I have been on pins and needles, waiting for that phone call. It came today and I didnt want to return the call. I finally got the courage at call my Doc's office at 2:30 from work and my surgery date is DECEMBER 26th, I actually feel ready and am quite excited. Hi 4jin, its sad but true, women can be so mean and catty. these women have their own issues, and it wont matter a bit if your thin or fat. its just best to stay clear of anyone who is negative. I always walk with my head up, shoulders tall. I feel good about myself and it shows. it shouldnt matter what the scale reads. good luck on your road to health SC not yet banded

I dont know if this will help, but if you look up to the sky and blow kisses, it is suppose to tighten the neck and chin. I've beening doing this SC not yet banded

ladies, I want to thank all of you for being so honest, I dont even have a date yet, (sometime mid-Dec) and I had a panic attack on the way to my last requirement. thankfully this nervousness has not made me very hungry. can they cancel if they think you are to emotional. I have a question, what does the stomach/lapband look like years from now, I have seen pictures/videos on newly inserted LBs. does scare tissue form over band? any ideas SC not yet banded
