  1. I would think 30 minutes since they don't want us to eat for 30 minutes after drinking.
  2. Take a step back, is it gas pain or real pain from the surgery?
  3. Had surgery on 8/5, my mom ended up staying with me. I would recommend someone staying with u the first night. Sometimes the nursing staff can't come right when you need them.

  5. You're gonna do fine. I'll say a prayer for you to guide the hands of the surgeons and for a speedy recovery.
  6. I know it's not the same but get you some chocolate protein shakes. Good luck with everything!
  7. There are a lot of things that we shouldn't have after surgery; however, there are a lot of things that we can still have just in strict moderation. Mt dew is probably one of those things we shouldn't have because of the carbonation. So, drink up and enjoy. Good luck with everything.

  9. Maybe you'll be fine. Just keep your head up. I lost 11 pounds a week before surgery doing protein shakes for breakfast and lunch and then a small meal for dinner.

  12. Did you have to lose a certain amount of weight before surgery and do you already have insurance approval?
  13. I was gassy myself. I had mine on the 5th. Glad everything went ok for you.
  14. It is normal to be scared. Just have faith in God that he will guide the hands of the surgical staff and you will be fine.
  15. You are going to do fine. It is a very stressful situation. But keep your head up and know that God is always in control!!! He will guide the hands of the surgical staff so that you will have a safe surgery. I'll keep you in my prayers.
  16. So, I'm doing ok now. Was having a lot of issues with the gas not passing and nausea. I have had very little pain medicine though. Hope all is well with you.
