  6. I wanted to add that they said they needed to cut back on staff... but after I left they replaced me. And I was the only one let go.
  7. You should wait and give as little info as possible. The thing is, it is very hard to prove they fired you for medical leave. I didn't mean to, but I got pregnant the day I got a promotion. Let them know right away. Went on maternity leave. Nothing was ever the same. They made up reasons to fire me.... they waited just long enough to make it look like that's not why they're firing me. Right after Christmas, pink slip. Up to this point I was the subject matter expert, best metrics in the division, never late, got along with people...

  10. You sound like you deserve this for yourself and for your family. I'm really happy for you and hope to be in your foot steps soon. I will say a prayer for you. Can't wait to hear how you're doing afterward!
  11. Hello, I have my first appt with the nutritionist and surgery team Thursday. In the mean time I'm wondering.... not to sound naive/grandiose... but what could they teach me about nutrition that I don't already know? I've been researching nutrition for 10+ years.... worked with doctors, nutritionists, therapists for over 7years. I understand my digestive system will be totally different so I will learn about my new portions.... but will I get to skip some of the training because I have a very solid background in nutrition? I'm sure many of us professional dieters are in the same boat as we've experimented with several things and saw how it affected our bodies. Any wisdom on how this is all going to work? Am I going to be bored during the 10 week pre-op program?
