First let me say congrats!!!!!! As for losing more weight my advice would be to make sure your staying on top of your Protein intake , make sure your eating at a slow pace so you don't over eat and if losing weight is your main goal you must be sure your eating clean ONLY! Exercise at least twice a week if not more ... Good luck drink lots if Water with lemon!!!!

Hey so first congrats on your process your doing amazing! My advice for you would be to make sure your still chewing slow so you don't over eat and if you are most defiantly trying to loose more weight you should only be eating clean and maybe one cheat day maybe! But make sure you are taking your Protein and working out at least and I mean at least 2x weekly .... You'll reach your goal!!! Good luck and stay focused also limit your alcohol intake because that's the weight that sneaks on You with out a sign ....

  7. I can ditto Your story I lost a friend who I had for 7-8 years because her being use to being the smaller FAT girl but once I lost the weight it's was all sorts of things being said like " Oh you think your smaller than everyone " and than her posting stuff on face book saying how she's tired of people saying they lost the weight this and the way but how they took the easy way out and she don't agree with it; she even went so far to say " I have a friend who's had a WLS and I don't agree with their decision , how she feels it could have been worked off" lol well yup it all balled down to jealousy and her not being ready to support me like she said she would before I got the surgery... It's funny how people are willing to support you until they feel threatened by your success!! Blah blah she was not my real friend at the end of the day

    fear of failing

Hey sweetie , I am a year and 8months out but I'm still battling the same thing , listen you will loose the weight just focus on the goal and you'll be fine , I eat a little more and I'm not really losing weight but I'm not gaining weight either I'm fine with that. Like you said it's a life time battle but eventually your mind won't realize that and you'll be in a swim suit on the beach thanking god you didn't drive your self nuts... Lol

At this point it's amazing and challenging at the same time.. Let me explain ; I can now fit a size 5/6 jeans instead of an 18/19 and 20 sometimes , I am very confident more than ever but still remain humble , I get all types if compliment from both people I know and don't know .... I feel Great , look great and I'm completing loving the new me The challenges : I still have a mind set that I'm a "Big Girl "even though I know I'm physically not big no where, it's a challenge to try to now maintain this image that the world puts on you but I just try to be myself , I get scare like every one else of gaining too much weight so I maintain being focused buttttt you may slip feeling so great and now realizing that it's been 3months since you've worked out lol Bottom line is it's hard but worth it girl you'll look great and feel great just stay on top of it but don't get excessive and lastly don't be afraid to ask for help!!! Good luck!!!

  12. Hi ladies/Guys I am 1 year and 8months post op Sleever and some how I have found this love to inspire others to do the same not saying the actual surgery but the WeightLoss part and building the self esteem of others. I am curious to see who would be interested in something like this ? Here's a little about me I have always been a big girl but to be honest I never thought I was insecure , I always dressed up being in the fashion industry as I am for over ten years you have to look and act the part so I think I spent so much time acting that I never realized how un-happy I really was until I was 5'2 264 pounds , chronic asthmatic , sleep apnea , one step away from type 1 diabetes . Long story short I am now so happy and completely comfortable with my self inside and out and I'd like to help others with that ; inspire you as you can also inspire me Don't think that because I lost the weight that I am sitting here feeling perfect NO there are things I still deal with from day to day .
  13. Hi Grandmaacj , I am more than happy to support anyone I can , as for your weight loss first I'll say that it's different for everybody; when I first had the Sugery within one month I lost 30LBS . But I understand what your saying , just make sure you'll doing all you can do like make sure your reaching your Protein levels , make sure you're eating small portions , not drinking while eating at the same time, make sure your not over eating because it's possible even if your sleeve stops you , you should be stopping your self before that and no worries I have issue with this myself .... Good luck

Hey first off Good Luck!! As for your Vitamins your doc is just going to make you take the vitamins you are low in or missing and once your levels have been elevated to an approval level your doc will move you to the next step to proceed with your surgery no biggie. When I was in the beginning stages I too was low in vitamins , I was low in B12 and as I said I was directed to take the missing vits and that was that . As for your notifications I too have an Iphone you can find them where it says " More" at the bottom of your app

Hey First I'll say good luck you'll be fine!! Now as for the Vitamins no worries all the doc will do is have you take what ever vitamins you are missing or in levels until it is at an approval level . Once you have completed that part you'll be approved and moved on to the next step. When I was in the beginning stages I was low in B12 and my doc made me take the vitamin shot and than as I said I was pushed to the next step . As for this site you'll find your notifications in were it's says ... " More"

    One Month, Two Days

Hi May I have the information for Your doctor
  21. Hi So I'm one year and eight months post op and I can honestly agree with some of you !! I was originally on the it's no bodies business camp as well but listen girl either people are going to have an opinion and they will speculate what ever they want . I truthfully can say I weighted a whole year until I no longer cared what anyone will say , I mean I told all my friends , family and anyone who asked me if I did surgery but if they just asked how I lost the weight I'd say Protein and eating small portions as you've stated ... The half truth ; now I'll tell anyone who wants to know , it's on my face book , my Instagram and I'm even starting a campaign .... Tell the world and when you get feed back whether it's good or bad remember why you had the surgery in the first place and let that be all that matters .... Your story will inspire some one , and that's worth more than the negative feed back we are all so afraid of ... Also never be ashamed of something you did to better your self as long as you didn't hurt anyone to get it " Screw them with a smile"
