I know I thought so too, but he's adamant that you are to and moving and back to work. ??? I am however taking 12 days though, using annual leave so I don't need a note from him. Ha!!! I'll check into the hospital Tuesday at 8:00am and will be out by Wednesday at noon as long as there are no complications.

How long ago was your lap band? Is VSG a sleeve? I have my sleeve on June 3rd and just required to do liquids 24 hours beforehand too. I have had my lap band placed April 2008. I lost 30lbs and gained it all back since. I could only hold 1.7cc in a 10cc band and even that was too tight. So it my surgeon is going to remove it and do the vertical sleeve gastrectomy. I'm so excited and nervous. I know is time I will be successful... Are you ready?I'm nervous, excited and past ready. Lol. You??

That's ridiculous you're having to wait it out in so much pain. Amazing how little some humans care. My pre op diet is only 24 hours before and it's clear liquids. Please keep us posted.

Hang in there :-( just focus on water. I agree you sound dehydrated. Maybe go to doc and get IV hydrated? Just a thought.

I really hate to read this. I'm so sorry you're struggling and in PAIN! Awful. Does anyone seem to have ANY sense of where the pain is coming from? Bariatric hospital that did surgery isn't any help? I'm just so sorry. I have my surgery June 3 so unfortunately no help. Maybe a hernia? Gall bladder?

Our pre-op diet is only 1 day!! We have to do clear liquids the day before and nothing after midnight. That's all. How long are you on the diet??? 2 weeks?
