  1. You sound exactly like I felt up to week ago. I couldnt keep anything down and that included liquids. The final straw for me was when I passed out at work. I just got so tired of not feeling good. I finally was told that I was clogged up and my esophasus was swollen. I had to have my fill removed until my thoart return to normal. I was told that I was literally starving myself. I am going to have the fill put back in the 5TH of Nov if everything be okay at that visit. I know how you feel. But to me at that time I just wanted to loose a little bit more weight and if I was eating a whole lot less, the weight loss would just go that much more quickly. Get help if you can.
  2. Hello, I am a black female, age 60 this year and I would like to know what is said about black women and loose skin. I dont have a problem with anything but my arms. My hips and stomach are okay (and that was where all of my excess weight was located, ) dont even need a girdle, but my upper underarms are loose, so I just dont wear sleeveless dresses or blouses.
  3. I am one of the people that CAN'T STAND HER, you can be nice, informative without carrying on like she do. Just looking at her, while just turning the channel annoys me to no end.
  4. I was 59 when I had the lap band done. It was on a Wednesday and I went back to work on Monday. I do accounting work so I sit most of the day and I didnt have any problem.
  5. I had a fill over a month ago, about 2cc. Well anyway a week or so after the fill, when I eat, I can just open my mouth and everything can come right back up with slime(SORRY) I do try to chew, chew, chew I half way thing, this is sort of good thing with the holidays here, I definely wont be overeating. I am thinking about having some remove after Xmas. Is this overfill or what?
  6. I had the lap band surgery in Aug. At that time, I was taking Detrol la, for a bladder problem. When I was release from the hospital I was told to find out if it came in liquid which it did. But could you tell me why I could no longer take the little pills. I much rather take them than the liquid twice a day. I think that the nurse said it had to do with its being 'TIME RELEASE'

I joined LA FITNESS, right now they have a two weeks special and it is free. I love it.. in fact so much that I can go by myself..(I started out going with my daughters)..after I work out..I really enjoy myself in the hot tub and sauna. It is between $35.00 & $38.00 a month.
  8. I was banded on 8/22/07 on a Wednesday and went back to work on the following Monday
  9. I would like to know that if you have a 4cc lapband do that means that each time you get a fill, each cc is added together until the total equal 4cc. or do it means that each time you get a fill you can get up to 4cc? Also can you have a protein shake with your meal and that can almost be your liquid with your meal.
