  1. I had mine done by Dr. Ortiz. It cost me $5,200.00. The sleeve was $4,400.00 and the revision was $800.00. I'm down 25 pounds so far and feel fine.
  2. It should be located at top right where is says hello and your name click on that and it should bring options available and tickler is on left

  4. I am 2 and half weeks post op and I still have times when I have no energy. It does get better each day. When I have no energy I sit down and drink my protein shake which takes some time when I'm done with it I force myself to get up and do something even if it's for a half an hour. Just keep taking your vitamins and get your protein and water in.
  5. My surgeon said after 6 weeks it's ok as long as it's not carbonated. I don't see anything wrong with a drink. It's your birthday it's not like you are just drinking to drink and we have already given up so much so and I look at it as a little reward for giving up so much already. Happy birthday!
  6. Hi I had my surgery with Dr. A Ortiz on April 18th of this month and I got it done at the mi hospital. I went alone but met people while I was there. He is a good doctor in my opinion. Going through a lighter me was helpful I can call or email with questions and they always get back to me they've been very helpful.
  7. I was the same way I always drink water. I had my surgery 8 days ago and I'm not thirsty because you should always be drinking your fluids. I have to just take sips and remind myself not to gulp or drink to fast you'll feel it if you try drinking to fast. Good luck on your surgery and journey.
  8. Just barely checked this. Have we already met lol? I'm at Marriott now. Surgery was ok

  14. Best of luck. I'm scheduled April 18th to have my band removed and have the sleeve done at the same time. I am a little nervous about the whole thing but so tired of the band. I got the band in December 2006 and had lost 60 pounds I had a fill done and the lady actually poked a hole through my port. The insurance wouldn't cover it since I had the band in Mexico and used fill center USA for fills (she was let go of fill center but never informed her patients until later) and it wasn't life threatening. So now that the weight has returned completely I will be returning back to Mexico and saving at least 10,000.00 dollars.
  15. I am having mine April 18th and am very very nervous..lol
  16. I feel exactly the same way! At first I thought no big deal but the more I think about it the more I start to stress. I fly out the 21st how about you?

  20. Thank you for all the responses. My husband is the only one that knows as well and he doesn't have a passport so. I will have to be at the motel for a day so little weirded out. NewBeginning2014- I will be arriving and doing my surgery same day on the 18th. Are you nervous as well? How is your diet going?
  21. Dr. Ortiz will be doing it. When did you have yours done? Were you nervous being there alone?
  22. Hi, I'm new to this forum. Just wanted to know if anyone has went to Mexico alone and if you were nervous. Also, how much pain did you experience after the surgery?
