  5. Thank you guys! Makes me feel better. Unfortunately I did run into dehydration and was hospitalized for a day 2 days after I came home, they hooked me up to the iv for hours. Not fun!!! But I'm doing better now and every day it seems as if I can fit a little more!
  6. I'm one week and 2 days post op and I'm wondering if it's normal to not be able to take in 64oz of liquid and 89g of protein a day??! I'm getting about 40 of each a day
  7. I'm a little over a week post op and I'm nervous to start my calcium chewables! Is that normal? I'm wondering if they're gonna settle okay. Anyone have any feedback?? How they're doing with them? Thanks!
  8. Hi! I had surgery march 24th, so I can tell you from her point of view! As I got home from the hospital I was very down on myself and crying a lot! Better now but the first week was the hardest, just make sure to visit her and make her feel like you truly care about her well being. A very few of my friends came to see me and I felt as if everyone else besides those few and my family could care less. This is a very stressful but exciting time for her so it's the little things for me that helped a lot! As long as you make an effort to see her maybe a card? Flowers? Anything to make her feel loved at this phase of surgery is awesome!! I'm a little younger then you guys so I was dealing with my friends wanting to go and party instead of seeing how I was doing which crushed me, but now that I'm feeling better physically everything's going smoother! Hope my advice helps ya! Good luck to your girlfriend!
  9. I'm taking in about 30-40 oz right now and about 50-60g Protein which is about all I can fit right now in a day, hoping I can increase soon! Thank you!!
  10. Yes!! That would be awesome!! Any feedback is great! Thank you!
  11. This liquid diet is killing me! I was fine up until the other day until I was craving something for the first time....PIZZA. I wonder if there will ever be a time where I'll be able to eat that again?! But for now diluted apple juice, water, Popsicles, & protein shakes! One week post op & down 17lbs already is that too much too soon? Or normal?!
  12. I was sleeved on 3/24, been doing okay. Everyday get ms a little easier but now in having issues with feeling like something is constantly in my throat without being full. I'm assuming it's reflux? Anyone having this?? Also it's very hard for me to take in for then about 30 oz a day, which is scary because I don't want to get dehydrated. Any feedback?!
