  12. I started my pre op diet on Wednesday, my surgery is Monday 4/7! I'm ok, water, protein shakes, sugar fee jello and sf ice pops! I'm pretty nervous about Monday but I'm pushing through. I'm thinking the weekend is going to be the hardest! Going to keep myself busy cleaning!

  17. I think you have talked me off my ledge. I know Monday morning I'm going to be a mess but I am trying to believe my life is not supposed to end here with this...but begin a new life!
  18. I've had gall bladder surgery as well but that was 15 years ago. I was feeling better about it and I personally know 1 person who has had the sleeve, a few hon have had gastric bypass and a few who had lapband, they all survived without any major complications. Thanks for all of your advice and support. I was starting to feel better about it until tonight.
  19. The problem is I don't know what my gut is telling me to do! I'm 100 lbs overweight and I've been struggling my whole life with weight! I want to be healthier so I can enjoy life with my girls but I'm so afraid of dying and not being here to see them grow up!
  20. So I'm scheduled surgery on Monday 4/7 and now that I've read some seriously horrible stories on here, I'm considering canceling my surgery! I was already scared and now I'm petrified! I want to do this for a better quality of life not to be sick or die!!! I don't know what to do now...I'm so confused and afraid to make the wrong decision!
  21. Wow you look awesome! 100 is what need to lose!.
  22. I'm tired of the yo-yo too! I am a teacher and I want to be able to truly enjoy my summers off with my girls without feeling self-conscious at the beaches Water parks and pools!! It seems so drastic yet I personally know quite a few people who have done some sort of wls. Just praying I get through this. Today was my first day on liquid diet, I'm surviving ok. Just wish it was over and I was already home from surgery! Good luck to you and definitely keep me posted!
  23. Congrats on your surgery! So happy to hear you are doing relatively well! My sleeve is scheduled for 4/7 and I'm getting nervous! Good luck on your new journey and keep us posted on your progress!
  24. Thanks! I'm trying to calm myself and all of the reassurances from here is helping!
  25. I'm scheduled for April 7th. I very scared and nervous. I also keep thinking maybe I should just try to diet and exercise again, too but deep down I know if it hasn't happened my whole life, without wls surgery it probably won't. And I also know continuing on this path is going to be worse. I'm lucky because my husband and friends support me in my journey, although I think they are secretly nervous for me too. Hang in there we are all going to get through it!
