Sleeve30 I sure hope so, I'm 5'8 and 349lbs! God that sucks saying "out load" to someone! I have the pre op class on 6/4! I was supposed to go on my sons class trip that day but now I can't...????

I'm also with Dr Abkin & have BCBS!! I just have the gastro visit tomorrow & the endoscopy next week, then submit to insurance as well! My surgery is scheduled for 6/16, how bout u?

He should be able to schedule you then. Today I had my psyc eval & visit with the nutritionist, they both went well. Now just the gastro next week and submit my paperwork to the ins. Company! Moving right along!

I have my psyc & nutritionist visit this week! Then all that's left is the gastro next week. Stuff starting to get real, real quick! I'm happy but scared!

My surgery isn't until June but I too daydream about wearing cute outfits! My nieces wedding is in January and I so hope to look nice & much thinner by then! "Window shopping" never hurts! Lol

I just realized I'll be on my pre op diet for my bday too! Lots of us with June bdays & now re-bdays! Time is going so slow, I cannot wait!! Here's a question (or two) for everyone! 1. What won't you miss about being fat? 2. What can't you wait to do once you lose your weight? I'll go first: 1. I won't miss shopping in Lane Bryant exclusively!! 2. I can't wait to be able to tuck a shirt in and be comfortable! I've never done that in my adult life!

Scheduled for June 16th right now! Going thru the checklist with insurance as we speak! Good luck all!

See if you can move your appointment with them up! I wasn't supposed to see him til the end if the month but because of work & insurance issues they moved me up.

Brybro is he part of the two surgeon group at JFK for life center? That's who I'm working with. How was your experience at JFK hospital? I have my offical "meet the surgeon" visit on 4/23 and I can't wait! I wanna do this like yesterday. Congrats on your success so far.
