  1. Thank you I'm trying to keep myself sane and know I have options
  2. My Dr does the removal then you have to do the program again it takes about 6 months then if approved you can have another surgery done such as the sleeve that's what I'm Hoping for. I've gained back all the weight I lost with the bans I'm so SAd about it! I feel like a lapband loser and not in a good way. I just want to be healthy and not hungry wanting food all the time
  3. I can't wait to say the same thing still waiting on insurance....
  4. I have another appointment with my Dr next week. I have no comorbities with my bmi so the insurance might not cover a revision and only cover my band removal. My BMi is 40 I gained back all the weight lost from my band its very depressing and I would like to have the hunger feeling hone. I'm so hungry and protein foods like meat get stuck all the time I end up sliming but remaining hungry. I'm so sick of it I feel like it has taken over my life. :/ I'm ready for a better change and if mexico is the only way to do it at a cost effective way I'll have to take that.
  5. Thank you! How did u pay? Was there financings or did u pay cash
  6. I'm still looking at choices. My current surgeon has to do a few tests and see if I qualify for a revision through insurance if not I'm looking at mexico as an option but I'm still doing research on it I know its silly but its kinda scary feeling going to the unknown to have an unknown person operate on me
  7. I am going to try to see if my insurance will approve a revision but I'm afraid that it may not happen since I have no comorbitites so Mexico is my second option I'm wondering who people went through for Agency's And which doctors they used for revision. Such as occ, beliteweight, alighterme ect. And how were their experiences. ThNksw
  8. That's wonderful news! Congrats
  9. I also notices they have in house financing did anyone do this?
  10. Thank you! I like the fact you are in the hospital for three days and then go home no hotel or anything. Did you have a drain with your sleeve surgery
  11. How did you find be lite weight? How much were your surgeries?
  12. Thatiz my plan as well had the band placed in 2010 and here I am now gained back my lost weight. I was fold though they remove the band then I have to do the program again for insurance approval to get the sleeve I'm afraid I'll have it removed And be denied for the sleeve MX have nothing
  13. Good luck to u guys keep us posted!
  14. Did you they to appeal there decision? That is crazy! My insurance will not do the removal and sleeve at the same time. I have to have it removed and then do the program all over Gain which takes about 6 months....
  15. I am going to my Dr on the 23rd to discuss band removal and sleeve surgery. I know that there is a wait period after band removal to have the sleeve done due to insurance reasons. I am very anxious I really want second Chance already this band has failed me!
  16. I wish we could do it all in one :/ I guess its an insurance thing here they won't pay for it that way.
  17. My Dr removes the band and then you have to do the six month program again to get insurance approval for the sleeve. I'm afraid of having no restriction and gaining more weight! Who else has had to wait between surgeries and how was it?
  18. How about approval for a revision?
  19. You look amazing keep up the good work!
