I am having revision surgery. I had LAPBAND 3/06 and was sucessfull then started having problems. I started out at 312 and got down to 165. I became over restricted had fluid removed and was never able to get it adjusted correctly aftr that. 4/13 I had a bowel obstruction where the tubing tangled with my interstine resulting in emergency surgery. Every couple of months I get terrible abd pain resulting in a trip to the ER. Finally we submitted all my records to the ins company and they approved converting to gastric sleeve. I'm super excited and nervous at the same time.
