    ONEDERLAND!

The last 3 weeks and 8lbs have been the hardest. I never thought I'd see this magical place called onederland again. Prior to my surgery, I gave myself a goal to be in onederland by 6 months post-op but I'm ECSTATIC to say just 10 days short of my 5mth post op and just in time for my bday, I have arrived! Sorry if I sound too crazy or overly excited but it's been a tough journey of 15+ years. In addition, I feel as though you all are the only ones that can understand the struggle & excitement that even a 2lb weight loss is for me. Especially after just 3 days ago a friend of mine who I thought was supportive of this process said this surgery was "the easy way out." My blood boiled but it only gave me more motivation to be better and stronger. I did this for me not them! Highest weight: 282lbs Pre-op weight: 268.4 lbs Current weight: 199.4 lbs

    ONEDERLAND!

Thanks everybody! It's amazing the amount of support these forums provide and truly a driving force for me throughout this process. <3

    Advil or Aleve every again?

I was told never again. I too had little to no effect with Tylenol and used only Advil liqui gels but now I use the extra strength Tylenol rapid release and they work just as well as the Advil. I would call your surgeon.

    At the hospital yall!

    Good Luck!!
  7. Anyone that wants them can have them. They vary from dressy to casual, tube tops to tank tops etc. Some of them I never wore. I rather someone take them and use them than to trash it. Anyone interested, let me know! I'm in Northern NJ. Thanks

    Help

I had the exact same issue. I went to Walmart and bought the shots which are only about 3oz and they have 27 grams of protein. And a box of six would run you about $9 if you order it online to pick up at the store it is a couple of bucks cheaper. Good Luck!
  11. So I had my 3 month check today and my Iron levels are low (boo) my Vitamin D is dangerously low (boo) but thanks to LabCorp I noticed they both have been for almost 3 years! Oddly enough those doctors never said anything to me and now I'm playing catch up. On the Bright side I am down 66 lbs!!!!!! I'm so excited and so close to onederland, I can taste it! Lol. I just wanted to quickly share my excitement because unless u have been in our position it's difficult for people to understand the excitement of even a 2lb loss. Have a great one everybody!

    3 month Post Op Check

12 VIALS?! OMG that sounds like a lot. I only have 4 taken when I go. Well it's part of the process I guess. That is awesome, 48lbs! Nevermind your BMI!!! That is amazing. I can't wait for my BMI to be on the normal range as well. Not quite there yet but one step at a time. I wish you the best of luck and continued success on the WL!!

    3 month Post Op Check

It's weird, every time I "exercise" even just a quick walking the dog around the block, the next day I dropped 2lbs. The days I don't exercise, I completely stall. If only it were that simple before surgery, right?! I don't drink anything but Water and diet snapple when I want something different. I also keep to the minimal rule of 64oz of water/64grams of Protein daily my surgeon told me. Other than that I'm not doing anything special.

    3 month Post Op Check

Thanks DaddyMarie !! The 66 lbs are from date of surgery. My surgeon didn't require a pre-op diet. Just the 24hours before surgery straight clear liquids.

Women 2x-3x tops up for grab

If you're willing to pay the shipping, I'd gladly pack and ship them to you. It is quite a few pieces so I'm not sure what it would cost. I can ask my husband, he works for FedEx, what it would cost to ship it and can let you know?!

    Help!

I completely agree with Mrs Havelock, smoothies are very high in sugar. I would probably steer clear of those for now. My NUT told me that is a quick way to gain weight because you don't realize the calorie and sugar intake on those. I hope you feel better and find the right combo of food for yourself. There are boards here with great food ideas for each stage post op that you can should check out...I know that helped me out SO MUCH when I didn't know what else to eat. Good Luck!
