<span style='font-family: georgia'><span style='font-size: 12px;'>Hello all! My name is Shelby Russell and I had the gastric sleeve procedure on 1/27/14. Today marks me 7th week and to date I have lost 45.5 lbs. Yeah it sounds surreal but I really attribute the quick loss to my being so sick the first 4 weeks. Yes, I am one of those strange birds that had an unGodly amount of nausea. It is much better now and I will be returning to work this week. It has been rough to be honest but totally worth it. I have fought my weight as far back as I can remember. The yo-yoing just became too much. Plus my sons are 19 and 17 and are completely healthy....and I wanted to encourage them to stay that way. Anyway, I am joining this site to use as yet another tool in my battle against food addiction. Thanks in advance for being there for me ;) </span></span>Updated: I have reached my goal and still going strong. I absolutely would do it over again despite the rough patches. Don't give up...it gets better!
