  1. March 10th here so I'm 2 weeks out. I'm so desperate to crunch something I got chewable vitamins (approved). LOL
  2. Congrats! I have about the same to lose but I am just 2 weeks post-op. I appreciate the motivation!
  3. Tomorrow I will be 2 weeks out so I remember all too well! Hang in there! Every day does get better! I promise!
  4. Hey there! Just saw your thread. I had bilateral pulmonary emboli 2 years ago. They never were able to figure out why all of a sudden I had blood clots In both lungs or where they came from. I have been on Coumadin since then. I only go for blood checks once a month since my levels are consistent. I came off the Coumadin and went on the shots prior to the surgery and then went back on the shots after surgery while the Coumadin built back up in my system. Piece of cake. I was also careful to get up and moving some which they make you do after surgery anyway. It is a risk that warrants consideration but it's not a deal breaker. I hope this helped!
  5. Congrats! So exciting! You are an inspiration! Keep up the good work!
  6. I used to drink the premiere prior to surgery and really liked them. Now, in my first week out when I was going to rely on them I can't hardly stomach them. Sorry, no pun intended! I think I am going to take the advice of the chicken flavored unjury. I have read lots of good things about it on this forum. Hang in there! You got this!
  7. I too had trouble with my traditional vitamin so I ended up resorting to children's chewable. The bariatric fusion sound good, I am going to ask about them at my 1 week follow up tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestions!
  8. These are all great ideas! Thanks! I find out tomorrow if I get to progress to puréed food. Here's hoping!
