I am scheduled for the 23rd as well!! Getting really excited!! I have my appointment for pre op and with my surgeon to weigh in this Friday. I had to lose ten to fifteen lbs and I am down twenty! I have my pre op instructions already... I have to be on a liquid diet for three days prior.. No Easter for me! I am making sure I am working that day!

That's great! I started at 270 and am now 250... I have an appointment with the hospital and surgeon Friday! I have to weigh in so they can make sure I lost the weight the asked me to! I am Sad that I have to start my liquid diet on Easter Day!! Hah boooo But I am going to schedule myself to work and skip Easter this year!

Am getting sleeved April 23rd!! Looking for some people with dates around the same time fpr people to share experiences with!! I am so glad they have this forum... I have learned so much already from other people's experiences!! I have been on special orders from my doc diet and it works! So far I am down 20 lbs pre op!! So excited and nervous all in the same breath!! Can't wait to start my sleeve journey!

This is great to hear!! I was worried... I started my diet feb 7th and have lost 20 lbs so far with a little cheating in weekends!! Hah I will have 80 more to go and I am hoping to be down to where I want by October so I can were something nice to my sons wedding!! Thanks for sharing!!

This sounds like what I will be doing after surgery. I'm getting sleeved on 4/23 and I work and travel a lot. How are you doing with this type of eating? I have over 100 lbs to lose! : /

Are you drinking before during or after you eat? I haven't been sleeved yet..April 23rd.. But my doc said it's going to be important not to drink 30 min before and 1 hour after I eat!! This will give my stomach time to tell my brain I'm full and will help me to stay feeling full longer! : ) I do this now pre op and have already lost 20 lbs just doing that and cutting out soda!

I haven't gotten sleeved yet.. Next month .. But I have found that the Atkins freezer meals are really good! I keep some at home and some at work!

My date isn't until April 23rd but my Doc only requires 3 days pre op liquid diet. Unfortunately for me that means I have to start on Easter! Blah!! My doc already gave me a mapped out diet in detail of what I can and can't eat 7 weeks after my surgery.

I keep reading about two week pre op diets but my doc is only requiring me to be on liquid diet 3 days before my surgery....which happens to begin on Easter Sunday!! Hah My surgery is scheduled for April 23rd. Good luck with it I hope all goes well for you! I am going to get nervous as it gets closer! Ugh!
