  3. So tomorrow I get to add new foods yay! Day 7 here I come!
  4. Okay I must say first breath! Lol it is okay to feel so many ways. You will have to work in your head hunger and that might take some time but you can do it. We tend to take out stuff on the people we love and are close to the most. Just remember you will do just fine you made this choice for a reason and u have to remember why it is you did it. I'm not sure why so many people don't want others to know about surgery. I think everyone in my life knows I had it and they all have been talking to me and there for me. So maybe it's not such a bad thing that people know. I take stuff out on my hubby too sometimes but we never go to bed mad! Just always know he has and will be there for you! I hope I have helped a little bit I'm not a good typer I'm more of a talker! Good luck
  5. Had gastric bypass on 3/7 looking to see if anyone is in my area out here?
  6. Yes I feel this way to sometimes. I get up and walk and most of the time it's gas.
  7. Hey I only had to do a 1 day liquid the day before surgery and "clean" myself out too. The two weeks before I had to be on a 0-20 carb a day diet. I had surgery 3/7 post op has not been as bad as I thought. My doc said I was off duty for 14 days after. It has not been hard to do only liquids after. I do not feel hungry nor feel the want for food. I drink my protein shakes 2-3 times a day, and drink 25-36 oz of clear liquids a day. I have ate jello and pudding also. The only pain I have had was GAS bubble after surgery. I have been walking everyday he said to walk 30mins a day. Good luck and I hope all goes well
  8. I too am a tummy sleeper I am day 5 post op and have a very hard time falling asleep on my back. I have been sleeping with like 5 pillows under my back and head. I started last night and placed a pillow under the left side of my tummy and lay on my side for a few.
  9. Thanks I know it will be hard work and I am truly ready for it! I am looking forward to my life journey.
  10. Am 3 days post op and so far I am doing great. After my surgery I had a massive gas bubble sitting in my chest and it hurt. So I walked and walked and walked some more. Then on day 2 it moved down. I am starting my shakes today. I have not hurt to much since Ive been home I only stayed overnight at the hospital. I have never been one to use pain meds but I had had to use it 2 times since being at home. Start weight was 458 Before surgery was 442 I am gonna weight myself once a month I don't want to be worried about it all the time. My husband and mother and my many many supporters have been so great to me and I can't wait till I can go work out I have 14 days off and just been walking 30 mins a day starting off. Getting there slowly !
  11. I am 3 days out mine was march 7th. Doing great so far.
