Me too it's like I want something but nothing I eat tastes good

I hate when u have a craving for something

Week 9 post op lost 60 lbs so far yay

Week 8 post op I have lost 56 lbs and 70 lbs since I first started yay

Went and had a upper GI Endoscopy today. Dr said my tummy looked great from the surgery and not my gallbladder! Yay but my tummy was inflamed and that is probably what my problems had been coming from. Gave me RX for Carafate to take 4 times a day and back on full liquids for 2 weeks to give tummy a break so happy it was nothing to bad

App tomorrow to have a scope ran for dr to take a look see! I guess I'll know something tomorrow about what's been going on.

Day 2 of feeling bad and still dry heaving. Might be my gallbladder? Dr said either come to Er tonight or set up app for Thursday don't know what I'm gonna do yet??

Talk to dr today about my dry heaving. He said to stop eating solids till wed only eat liquids and see it that will help.

I have had a real hard day today I have been dry heaving all day! Hope tomorrow will be better 7 weeks post-op.

I am 6weeks out and find it hard to eat sometimes my tummy will be like nope we are not eating today! That's when I feel so sick to my tummy

Just follow what the Dr says. I have been doing good so far. Sometimes I still get a lot of gas in my tummy and ghat hurts and makes me feel like not eating or drinking. But Dr said it will pass so other than that nothing to bad. I wish you the best!

Went for my 6 week check up today Okay I have lost a total of 54 and a total of 40 since surgery!

Not really I don't like milk so the only time I drink it is when I drink my protein shakes

For the past few days my tummy has felt sour has anyone else felt like this??

4 more days and I will hit my 1 month mark! So happy with everything! That only problem I have found along the way are the protein shakes but hey we got to do what we got to do!

Yes we can have tums.

Day 25 I have lost a total of 41 and post op a total of 27 lbs right on track

Well on a good note my wedding rings are falling off my finger hahaha feels good to be a loser

Friday was week 3 post op and I must say I have been feeling so great! But today I didn't feel too good. My tummy hurt a little bit and just felt like poo! But feeling better now! Just taking it one day at a time.

Day 20 post op and my hubby is just now sleeping back in the bed. lol He was to scared he was going to hurt my tummy. I love this man and it good to have him back next to me!

I am just in the beginning stages of this process and looking for a surgeon in the Atlanta area. I have researched several, and now my brain is simply boggled! Dr. John Daly performed a rather complicated surgery on my husband that went really well, but I'm not sure he does sleeves. I have also looked into Dr. Macik. I would love to hear about others experience with their surgeons or any suggestions you might have. Thanks in advance for your advice. I must say I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Macik. My surgery went well and I was up the same day walking. He sets you up for a great post op for eating and even gives a day buy day. I would be have pick a different Dr! Good luck with your surgery

I also have UHC http://www.northsidebariatrics.com Dr. Paul Macik is just the best Dr ever!!! He is not a big talker but he will answer any and all questions. I had my surgery at north side hospital they were so great with me. I hope this helps some.

Great to know! I tried and slept last night on my side! Felt great lol!
