  7. Yeah I just have to learn patience. Its not going to drop off over night. Congrats on your surgery:)
  8. I have been getting it the past couple of days.
  9. Big daddy wait til you start on solid food, its amazing how quickly you will get full. I'm full most of the time but have lost 75 pounds in 3 months.
  10. I totally hate protein shakes too. I don't drink them at all now but I do eat a protein bar once a day and I get most of my protein from my meals. Once you are able to eat regular food try to get at least 15 grams of protein per meal. I also have reduced fat string cheese which is a great source of protein. Food Lion also have protein packs in the luncheon section. Only 190 calories and 15 awesome grams of protein.
  11. Wow that's wonderful. I had my surgery may 12th too. I've lost 70 pounds so far but still haven't started exercising. I was in the hospital almost a month tho and had a lot of complications.

  13. Can I ask what the complications were and where did you have procedure? How are you now? I ended up in surgery for 8 hours because the staples would not stay closed in my new pouch. Finally my dr had to sew it together. After that I ended up with a leak and had to get a stint place to allow the leak to close. Took almost two months but as of now I'm ok. I started out almost 300 pounds and now I'm at 220. Had my surgery may 12th of this year.
  14. I had my surgery done like that in May. I ended up with big time complications and was in the hospital three weeks.
  15. I slept in my easy chair for weeks. I had complications with my surgery so I was in pain longer. But now I can sleep on my side with no pain.
  16. I am developing keloids but it's ok because they are not large.
  17. I ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks so it's a good thing my husband and family stayed visiting me.
