  2. My belly is great. Incisions are mostly healed, no swelling or itching. I've been using Cocoa Butter lotion on them as well.
  3. Hi all, I had my surgery March 11 and am doing so well I wish I had done this sooner! I'm down 46 lbs (21 lbs of it was lost pre -surg on the two week liquid diet). I'm feeling better than I have in many years, incisions are healing nicely, on pureed foods since Tuesday and starting exercise back up tomorrow. Only snag is I seem to be on my 3 week stall but with hydration and exercise I plan to overcome that ????
  4. I'm a March 11 also! I've been approved to move on to pureed foods as of last Tuesday but I've found other than the random few bites of applesauce or yogurt I'm not in a hurry to eat 'real' food again because I no longer like the full feeling in my stomach after a month of liquids. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm down 46 lbs so far, have energy and starting exercise up again tomorrow so I know I'll need to eat more pureed to keep my energy up.
  5. In two days I hit my three week mark, and I've noticed a stall also. I've gotten so used to dropping weight so fast (46 lbs so far) I got bummed but then realized I've hit the phase where it's going to drop less now I've already lost all the water weight. Just be patient and don't loose the good habits you've gained ????
  6. Hang in there. I just had my post surgery appt with my PA today and I got the green light to start full exercise in one week, which will be 2.5 weeks post surgery. She said walking and light cardio is okay now, so you're not doing anything my PA said wasn't okay. Hang in there and don't give up
  7. I call mine the Dictator because at this stage in my life, it rules me and I obey lol
  8. I get it also and I'm nine days post op. Saw my PA today for my post surgery follow up and she said it's normal 'growing pains'but to drink slower so the pressure doesn't build up too often

  10. Don't deny yourself the protein no matter what you do or you loose muscle mass. I'm 9 days post op and down 14 lbs since my surgery alone. I'm not a fan of them either and some days literally have to choke it down but I keep in mind my goal and the end game. I have found the Premier Protein strawberries and creme from Costco is better than most. At this point it's mind over matter. Hang in there and be strong.
