  1. Good for you Pizzicato66!! Way to go:whoo:!! My family took my scale away because it was actually doing me more harm than good. The weight just isn't leaving as quick as others or as quick as I would like. I just have to accept that but its hard. Hubby weighed me in this morning and said I was down. Not at wonderland yet but hopefully getting close. I spoke to the doctor's office last week who told me I am not eating enough:rolleyes:. Dear God....I need to set realistic expectations and get moving now.
  2. Hi everyone!! Boy, has it been busy!! I had to take a break last week from the treadmill. My port became sore from moving around while I run:rolleyes:. You can imagine what makes it "jiggle". Anyway I went and bought myself a tight tummy toner and it worked like a charm. I have been running the last 3 days with no pain.:clap2::whoo:
  3. Thanks!! Yes, it makes quite a difference. I am still full from my egg beaters this morning. Normally by now I am looking to snack. Have a safe trip!
  4. I can only hope to get to the point where I want to work out. I am not weighing myself everyday because my weight fluctuates too much. Once a week will do it for me. I can feel a difference so hopefully the scale will show a difference. Since I turned 45 this year the weight is hard to drop.
  5. 30 minutes treadmill....125 crunches on the AB Lounger and a bit of boxing (that was fun....saw it on the Biggest Loser). If this continues Son #2 will get something very special for Christmas. ;) :clap2:
  6. Salsa, The fill is great. What a difference! I ate a bit too quick today and got a terrible pain but it subsided pretty quickly. I can just about stick to 3 small meals a day and my Protein in between. I am hoping my son sticks with the exercise. It helps me because I don't want to disappoint him.
  7. weight lifting with my son and 30 minutes on the treadmill. He has agreed to be my workout buddy. I wonder how much that will cost me!!
  8. Hi Alexandra, I was done on 11/29 by Dr Bertha as well. It was a bit scary. He put 4cc in my 14cc band. I desperately needed this as well. By the way, support group misses you!!!
  9. 1 day down for me. I really want to make this goal this month. It will be the first time EVER that I lose weight over the holidays.
  10. Thanks for the good wishes and GREAT advice!! It is 12:30PM and I am not really hungry at all. I brought some pureed homemade turkey soup to work because I will try eating solids at home first. I had 1/4 cup of egg beaters this morning and I was full!! I feel restricted and love it. I am doing exactly what Candle and Salsa told me about the fill. It is working and WILL WORK for a long time. I am ready now. I can feel it!! :clap2::clap2: Now to start exercising.... Thanks again to everyone....what a nice feeling to know I have so much support.
  11. I went for my first fill today!! I am so excited. What a weird feeling. I have good restriction right now but I know that could disappear soon. I hope it stays!!:whoo::whoo:
  12. Hi everyone, I go for my first fill tomorrow. I can't wait!! I am so hoping for restriction. If not I need to still get my head together and do this. I am attending my first support group meeting tonight. Should have been there the 2nd week or so. Oh well....time to get on the "band" wagon!! Wish me luck!!:clap2::whoo::clap2::whoo:
  13. Thanks Frangipani! I am really going to buckle down now and hope for a good fill. It is frustrating and I am trying to hold on! Thanks for the support. I really do appreciate it and need it!
  14. Becky, The DVD isn't boring yet because I just began. I imagine day after day it would become boring.. I don't break too much of a sweat but I do get tired. The next day I hurt. I used the Water weights too that come with the dvd. I only paid $13 for the set at WalMart.
  15. Thanks Salsa!! I definitely will. I thought about going back to Weight Watchers for accountability but I don't want to spend the money. I will be a daily poster now!!
  16. Forgot to post I took a 1 hour walk today! :whoo::clap2: My legs hurt but they will have to get over it!!
  17. Texas Becky - I have a treadmill in the basement. I also have the Leslie Sansone walk away the pounds dvd. I really need to use them! Jody
  18. I'm still here too! I read a lot of posts but don't participate because i am disappointed in myself. I get my first fill on Thursday. I can't wait!!
  19. 45 minute BRISK walk for me today. It was 30 degrees out. It felt great! I will try and go again after dinner.
  20. Salsa, congrats on making it to Wonderland!!!:whoo::whoo::whoo: I get my first fill next Thursday...it can't come too soon for me!! I have absolutely NO restriction at all (or willpower for that matter). I am really glad you and your band are okay! You are such an inspiration. Jody
  21. 30 minute walk with my Husky....what a work out!
  22. Salsa, That is great news!! I am down 2 more and it puts me at 205. Thanks for your support. It helps to know someone less is out there with you!!
  23. Wow Rumar....please keep us updated!
  24. Still here!:clap2:
  25. Thanks for all the support!! I have actually walked everyday and got up early to do the Walk Away the Pounds DVD yesterday morning too! I did the 1 mile workout before I went to work. Felt great. Again everyone, you are such good motivation. Congrats to you all!!
