  1. Hi all, i think this is an awesome idea! I would like to attend but am very scared of driving in the st. Louis area.. I work in st. Peters, MO off cave springs. Is anyone interested in carpooling? You can contact me at uniek1@ymail.com. By the way name is Anisa and I was sleeved 3/3/14.
  2. But im not feeling full fast enough : ( thats what im afraid of. I havent been measuring because ive depended on the feeling of restriction so i will definetely start : ). Is it normal to get tired of eating the foods on the liquid diet because i sure am! Thanks for your advice!
  3. I had my surgery on the 3rd and I feel overwhelmed about how to properly manage my diet. I thought the liquid diet would become easier after surgery because I wouldn't be as hungry but I was wrong. Im still hungry and getting tired of eating the same things. Is it just me?
  4. I am struggling with the same problem liguy! I too had my surgery on 3/3/14. I don't feel like I get full fast enough and it worries me as well. In addition I struggle with drinking the recommended amounts of liquid and believe I am slowly becoming dehydrated. Thanks for sharing!
  5. Ill definetely look into those. Thanks so much!
  6. Thank you for your comment!
  7. Can u recommend an inexpensive unflavored protein powder that i can add to hot and cold foods? I'm trying to get a hang of sipping as oppossed to chugging . I don't feel like I'm getting enough liquids and afraid of becoming dehydrated.
  8. Hello All, I was sleeved on March 3rd and was finally discharged from the hospital today, March 6. I had to stay an extra day because I couldn't keep any liquids down. I got discharged this afternoon and so far I am doing alright. Still sore and a little nervous about what I should eat because I don't want to get sick again. My doctor encouraged me to focus on drinking 64 oz of fluids a day to prevent dehydration but the manual that she gave me stated that there's no way I can consume that amount at the beginning; so I'm confused. Has this happened to anyone else?
  9. Good for u unsleevable! My surgery is scheduled for march 3 and im a nervous wreck about the 2 week liquid diet. :-( im so glad to hear you are successfully preparing yourself for this journey! It definetely gives me hope : )

  13. Hello All, My surgery is scheduled for March 3, 2014 so I will be starting my pre-op diet SOON. I am so nervous because I've never had to go on a liquid diet for two weeks before. Does the pre-op diet get easier?
  14. Hello All, Is it normal to be nervous about the 2 week liquid pre-op diet? My surgery is scheduled for March 3, 2014. My doctor advised I can only have 800 calories a day while i'm on the diet. I am so nervous!! Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
