Hello everyone, I had the worst day....I mean busiest day at work today. It just seems the closer the date gets the more I need to get done. I am moving along on my liquid diet. Had a piece of string cheese this evening.....I am hungry!!! but excited to get this thing started. What is everyone's goals for weight loss. Solea78..... I know the feeling!!! i lost 100 pounds a few years ago and I hate that I am back here again. I am going to look for the Vitamins...did you get everything at costco?

Kristin, I think you have to do the ticker from the full website and not an app from your phone, a least that was my experience. 21 days.....and I thought my 7 days was crazy, I am low cal/low carb until next Monday. Then liquid.

Lovinglife, I am in Orange County Ca. I havent really told my family as of yet. They were not really keen on the idea, hence why I am here looking for help. It kind of sucks, but it is what it is. My brother is taking me and picking me up. I am taking about 8 days off and then I am the same as you.... job is pretty flexible; however, I have not told them why I am out...just requested vacation. Lovinglife, Congrats on the new baby and the new journey. So it sounds like February for sure. What's your current weight goal weight etc. do you have to do a liquid diet before surgery. I am currently on a low carb (under 20 a day) until a week before. Then I am on shakes for 1 week and clear liquids the day prior to surgery. As the days click by it is really feeling real. Excitement, scared, nervous, all in one. Trying to get every room In my house spotless since I will be out of commission for a few weeks. Only taking 9 days off from work and have planned it around the two holidays so I don't miss too much time. Then I am only working 3-4 days a week for three months. Hey loving life, lurk no more...... I am so excited for you!!! So at Kaiser do you just do the required steps (classes, labs, tests, etc) and then you schedule surgery or do you then wait for authorization?

Lucky you....I go to the nutrition class 2/6, so I hope to find a buddy. How long have you been on the liquid diet?

My doctor/hospital fees are $20000, my insurance allows $18000. I pay 10% UP to the first 1000 and then the insurance pays 100%. so my out of pocket was 1000 plus 500 in nut, prescrip, and other misc. I am hoping the $200 for the nutritionist will be reimbursed.

DID not like Oliaks attitude or his office staff. But his knowledge does put you at ease. I loved Owens staff but never actually went in to see the Dr. Went with Dr Hamamji, surgery 2.10 but I was going to go with Owens otherwise.
