I was recommended for the surgery by my family doctor. The weight was going up and my knees were so bad that I really couldn't walk. I began the journey in October '12. I received notice in early January that my operation would be on February 6/14 in Toronto. My biggest supporter has been my husband, but my friends especially the Aquafit group have also been cheering me on.
