  1. How about your glucose levels?
  2. I crave everything fried and sweet. Right there with you
  3. Yes feeling better. Still not at a point where I would recommend this surgery to others but I am getting better physically and mentally. Thanks for asking
  4. My surgeon makes his patients wait 1 month post op
  5. Anyone have any tasty puréed ideas? I'm getting lost for ideas.
  6. Congrats! I hope to get past my regret soon!
  7. Diet coke, burgers and fries. Ridiculous cravings for these items
  8. My doc puts you on puréed as soon as you leave the hospital.
  9. I'm ten days post op and I so want to feel normal. I am still at the regret stage because everyday is a struggle. Today I tried to be normal. Brought my daughter to her dance class and then skating, came home, had some puréed lean meatballs and sauce 3 oz and then felt like I was seriously going to vomit. I tolerated this meal fine a few days ago. I just feel like everyday it's a new challenge to deal with. I just want to feel normal. Help!
  10. I'm on the regret both with you. 7 days out today.
  11. I wish I was like you guys. I miss everything.
  12. Hi, should I be worried? I've had diarrhea twice today.
  13. I am also 4 days out and think about food constantly. I cried pretty much all day.
  14. I did this 100% for my daughter. I'm a single mom of a 7 yr old. Deathly afraid to leave her too soon. I'm 4 days post op and pretty miserable but in the end she is worth every drop of misery I feel right now.
  15. I think that having been sleeved so far from home and missing my 7 yr old daughter is the ultimate cause of my blues but man, I'm so regretting this. I know...too late for that. I can't tell if I'm hungry or gassy. Can't tell when I'm full or just grossed out by hospital food. Ugh. Just need to hear that this will pass.
  16. I honestly don't know how some sleevers only spend 1-2 nights in the hospital. I consider myself having a pretty high pain tolerance but omg I have had the worst 2 days ever. The stomach spasms are the worst. I haven't been able to drink much at all. I'm trying but it hurts so much. I know it gets better but holy man it sucks right now.
  17. I've had such a mix of emotions these past couple of days. But in two hours I will be in the OR for a VSG. I'm definitely nervous. Can't wait to be a loser.
  18. I don't think my surgeon intubates. I did call them this morning and they said I should be fine. I don't know. We'll see tomorrow I guess.
  19. No fever and no wheezing. So I'm hoping for the very best! Thanks for your replies
  20. I'm scheduled for surgery on Wednesday. I've been battling a nasty cold for 10 days so far. At this point, it's down to an annoying but not severe chest congestion ( not enough to cough it up but enough that I hear it when I exhale) and pressure in my head causing my ears to block. I'm so worried my surgery gets canceled. Ugh. I don't feel sick anymore but that damn minor cough n chest congestion. Any thoughts?
  21. Good luck! I'm April 2nd! See you on the other side!
  22. I haven't been given a pre-op diet but I have been doing 2 shakes a day with a small meal at supper. It hasn't been bad because I've had a bad cold for over a week now with very little appetite.
  23. My doc is insisting on 12 weeks and I'm cool with that.
  24. I am April 2nd as well. Lots of different feelings going on in my head. It feels a bit surreal at this point!
