  1. I know this is not an excuse and I shouldn't have done but I did. Hardcore. I was traveling on business my first three days of the preop diet and it was super hard to get out of the paid for lunches and dinners and what have you. I did pretty well on the first two days but the last day we went out to Ruth Kris Steakhouse and well, you can figure out the rest :/ is the preop diet a lost hope now ??? I'm jumping back into routine on day 4 and plan on fully sticking with the pre op, but really it was super hard with travel. #vent
  2. Thanks everyone!! I'm actually going to be on a business trip the first three days :/ talk about hard lol but hopefully it will all work out.
  3. Starting my liquid diet tomorrow *bites nails* any advice on how to psych yourself out and pretend to not want real food???

  9. Set a date for my surgery : March 3rd (yay!!!!) meaning my pre op diet starts on the 17th! How much trouble do you think I would get into with my doctor if I wanted to have some "food funerals" this week before I start my diet? I feel guilty :/

I'm 5'2, 24 years old and currently Pre-Op, waiting to get sleeved at the end of this month/ early march. Looking for some sleeve buddies to follow each other's journeys.   14. I'm Lauren :-) I will be having my vertical sleeve surgery early March possibly late February. I am from San Antonio TX , 24 yrs old 5'2 and weigh 215, I'm about to go into my two week pre op diet next week and a little nervous :/ Excited to be part of the community !!   15. Update* My doctor actually does require a pre op diet, it's two Protein Shakes and one meal up until surgery. I have to start two weeks before !
  16. I'm 5'2 still in pre op but my hw was 230, currently at 217. I should be having my surgery in less than a month so I will keep y'all posted!! best of luck everyone!
  17. Thanks so much!!! Is it harder for you to force down food being on adderall and having a smaller stomach? This is mostly what I'm concerned about.. :/
  18. No, not yet :/ shooting for February .. The endoscopy and my take home sleep study are on the same day .. After that I should find out more, hopefully I'm getting impatient and very anxious lol

  21. Will I be able to take my prescribed meds with vsg? I'm nervous because my adderall doesn't make me hungry, in combination with VSG I'm wondering how that works? Anyone have any advice on this subject?
  22. I have my endoscopy on 2/27 .. It sounds scary how bad is it? Will I be out the whole day?
  23. Thank you! I was super nervous about it, I'm just gonna tell him that I have an unexpected surgery coming up.. everything will be fine and that I'll need at least one week off for recovery? Hopefully that will be enough.
  24. I was told to do a low carb diet from my nutritionist as well but no out of the ordinary diets :/ I'm wondering the same thing I guess? My surg date is hopefully next month
